{Chapter 4} Track Meet (Continued)...

~Moni's POV~
As Chris and I walked, talked, and laughed I stopped and asked a question that shocked me and Chris...both
"So who the hell was that ratchet you were talking to?" I blurted out seeing shock in his eyes
"When?" Chris replied after a minute of silence.
"When I came down from the stands" I said trying and succeeding to sound angry... what am I doing i've never let my emotions for Chris out not even with the prettiest girls in school flirting with him..why now?
"Wait are you jealous?" He asked with a confused look in his eyes
"Nnn-NO! why would I be jealous your like my bestfriend and you date who ever you want" I said stern and looking at the ground on the last part.
"Ok good to know but it wasn't what it looked like she came on to me and I just ignored her basically" Chris stated looking into my eyes.
I was so relieved when he said he ignored her and I don't know why she was beautiful with greyish/blueish eyes and pale white perfect skin with long red hair..
I said "soooo anyways your present......
~Chris's POV~
Moni was jealous and I knew it but for some reason I felt she didn't want me to know she liked me...."Does she even like me I thought to myself?" She brakes the silence by saying "soooo anyways your present" she pulls out a box from behind her that has a crown on top and its green. She says this is for you and I take the box and open it....Its a gold watch with diamonds around it "a Rolex watch" I said surprised
"Yea" she said with a smile
"WOW"is all that would come out my mouth
She smiles even harder
I hugged her tightly like usual and she brakes away and looks into my eyes while her hands hold on my shoulder..... then I started to lean in and so did she. We were close almost lips to lips "I can't believe this is about to happen" i thought
