Out of everyone it could have possibly been it was was ℎ𝑖𝑚.
As she looked up her gaze met his, once agin she felt her self getting distracted by his beautiful eyes,
she felt a cold shiver crawl up her neck her heart ache from the nickname only ℎ𝑒 called ℎ𝑒𝑟,she soon snapped out of the thoughts when she realised what was said, she let out a humorous scoff just at the thought.

"𝑚𝑒? 𝑗𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑓...? 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑔𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑎 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑐𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑓𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑛" she laughed a smile still on her face from how amusing she found the situation, even if she was the smallest bit jealous she wasn't going to let him onto it so she simply brushed him off by asking him to clarify what exactly she should be 𝑗𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑓 because hearing him say it would be the most amusing thing ever to Delilah.

"𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑠𝑡𝑢𝑝𝑖𝑑 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙, 𝑑𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑦. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡"
He sighed with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips Lilah wasn't going to give into his games so she stuck with the 'I have no idea' act.
"𝑠𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑛, 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑚 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑔." She answered with a sarcastic tone wich made him roll his eyes.

"God your even more annoying than last year"
The smirk that was once on his face now turned into a simple shrug.
"Back, and better than ever"Lilah smirked sending him a wink, which made him roll his eyes
"Also if I had knew we were bringing +1's I would have had a line of boys begging me to pick them."

"Of course you would" he replied looking me up and down.

"𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑖𝑓 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒, 𝑆𝑎𝑟𝑎ℎ 𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑎𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑒"
I gave him one last sarcastic smile before turning on my heal to head back to the table where Sarah was waiting.

"𝑐𝑦𝑎 𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑, 𝑑𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑦." Was the last thing he said before Lilah flicked him off over her shoulder without looking back, even though she couldn't see him she knew he was smirking at her actions.

'Dolly' that stupid nickname she had gained last summer.

Hearing him say it made her feel...sad?

When she got back to the table everyone was ready to leave, Delilah couldn't be happier to get away from Rafe and his little date. "Delilah honey me and your father are going out with Ward and Rose for some drinks and business talk, so you will be heading back with Rafe and the girls" her mother informed her "why don't you have a sleepover with the girls it's getting late and they'd be more than happy" ward offered. Lilah was hesitant to answer not wanting to be in the same house as Rafe, but a sleep over with Sarah didn't sound like the worst idea.

"sounds wonderful Mr.Cameron" was what she replied with, a smile on her face but deep down she was slowly regretting it. "Wonderful! Rafe will take you all home" was the last thing ward said before waking off with Rose, her mother & father.

Delilah forced herself not to roll her eyes and decided just to get it over with and hide in Sarah's room for the rest of the night so she didn't have to see him for a while... or so she hoped.

Delilah's brother Ben didn't attend this dinner wich she thought was unfair but he did have a good excuse he was 'behind on business stuff' that he needed to catch up on so her parents allowed him to stay back at the house, lilah knew her brother to well she knew he wasn't doing business and that instead he was probably out partying or smoking something in some place he doesn't recognise.
