Sierra's pov:

Today is our gender reveal and I am partly scared and excited

My sisters were in charge of decorating the venue

My mom, Marquis's mom and our aunts were in charge of the food

His dad and mine were in charge of checking in guests

The plan was for Marquis and I to be walked in with blindfolds so we can be surprised

We would release fireworks and the color will tell us whether it is a boy or girl

I'm thinking girl ...

We took a shower and helped each other get dressed

He wore a white suit with a pink tie

So he thinks it's a girl too huh ...

I wore this light pink dress that flowed out and had ruffles by my shoulder

My hair was just in a afro and Marquis got his cut this morning

It hit 5:40, and we drove to the venue and we got blindfolded and then they took them off once we were inside

Everything was pink and blue and the sun was setting

It was beautiful

I loved it so much and the food looked amazing and my stomach started growling

Sierra: alright yall can't keep the pregnant lady waiting ...I'm hungry

Mom: Marquis you feeding my child

Marquis: yes Sierra had breakfast and lunch today

Sierra: I'm hungry again

We all laughed and then they agreed to start it now

Marquis pov :

My aunt lit my stick and then sierra's

We counted to three

1...2...3!

Pink fireworks exploded in the sky and all I heard was Sierra scream and squeal

Sierra: I knew it I knew it !!!

I was happy too and it didn't matter to me what it is ...I love this child regardless

I gave her a kiss and a hug and wiped her tears and when she wiped mine I realized I was crying

We hugged for a while and we started thinking of names

And then we ate and packed some to go boxes

Then after saying goodbye for a whole hour we left

We got home and we had sex and then we talked about the baby

And discussed more names and then I rubbed her back

I gave her feet a massage and then we took a nap

I woke up and went outside to take a smoke break
