Vrooom, varooom, vroooooom.

What the hell? Jenny wandered as a strange sound echoed through her apartment. She crawled over her bed and peered out her window. There sitting on the sidewalk was a blue phonebox?

No, not a phonebox. Jenny decided on closer inspection. A police box. What on earth?

There was a sudden boom! And Jenny jumped making her bed squeak accordingly.

"Hello?" Called a young British accent, male. "Anyone home?"

Someone just broke down my door. Jenny thought in a daze as she walked out of her small apartment bedroom. Why am I walking towards it? I must be a mental case.

"Depends!" Jenny replied, "are you a psycho serial killer?"

Jenny reached the main entrance and gazed at the young man sitting there. His hair was long and messy he wore a tweed coat and a red bow tie. He smiled goofily and said:

"Hello! I'm the Doctor!'

"Who?" Jenny asked puzzled.

"The Doctor!"

"Yes, but Doctor who?"

The strange man with the bow tie just blinked at her and said slowly and carefully, "Just the Doctor."

Jenny continued to stare at the man. She pondered over his British accent and wondered how he had ended up in Savannah Georgia. She knew some people toured Savannah for its many haunted houses and they usually came from all over the world but.... Why did this tourist come with his very own Police Box?

"What exactly are you doing here Doctor?" Jenny asked.

The Doctor smiled brightly and said, "Meeting some close friends, they needed my help with a very particular problem."

Jenny's eyebrows squinted together and she gazed at the essentric man in front of her. Since when did her apartment involve this strange man and his friends' problems? Jenny thouht this over as she walked into her kitchen and started to rummage through her cabinets trying to find the remains of her Captain Crunch.

"I'm Jenny by the way," she called, "since you never asked!"

The Doctor laughed silently in the parlor. If only that girl knew. She was about to have many surprises in her future. One of them being how famous she was in different dimensions. But, the Doctor didn't mention any of this. Instead he asked politley for some Fish Fingers and Custard.

Jenny sighed, "Well, I don't have any custard, but I do have some vanilla pudding. I mean, if that's what you really want for breakfast."

The Doctor smiled and nodded excitedly.

Jenny held back a giggle at his boyish antics and set to work of making fish sticks and her bowl of Captain Crunch. At nineteen, Jenny realized that sugary cereal was a bit immature, but it tasted amazing. What with the stress of college and her part time job, Jenny reasoned that she deserved Captain Crunch to help jump start her mornings.

"You know," the Doctor said as Jenny placed their food down on the breakfast bar, "I used to have a daughter named Jenny, I'm not quite sure where she got off to though."

"Really?" Jenny didn't think the Doctor looked that old. Something in his eyes seemed to say that he had seen centuries upon centuries of pain and torment, yet he barely looked old enough to have had a daughter, let alone one that went off on her own.

"Yeah... I barely knew her, like only for a few hours, but still." The Doctor shrugged and chowed down on a pudding covered fish stick. "So what are you doing with your life Jenny?"

Jenny decided to skip over explaining what she was studying to get her degree in and just told him about her job as a tour guide. But then she was stuck on having to explain to him how she walked to different 'haunted' houses and told the history and legends behind them.

A knock on the door interrupted the Doctor's reply. Jenny raised her eyebrows.

"Friends of yours?"

"I'm hoping so..."
