“Y/n honey, can you come along with me to the mall?” I heard my mom’s voice.
“Oh sure, mom.”
My mom and I go straight to the new mall to buy some clothes. It is pretty far away from our house. We both go together but I bumped into someone at the mall.
“Oh, I’m sorry ma’am. I didn’t see you walking.” I said.
“Oh, that’s fine.” The woman replied.
But when I look my back and my mom disappeared from nowhere.
“Wait what? Where’s mom?” I panicked.
The people also crowded at the same time.
“What should I do?”
I go to the corner of the nearest store because I can barely breathe in the crowd.
Still looking for my mom but not even a single person looks like my mom. My phone is also in my mom’s bag.
“Gosh, I’m in big trouble.”
I waited for a few minutes but the situation is still the same. My anxiety got even worse so I go and ask a person near the store.
“Uh excuse me, sir may I please borrow your phone?” I said.
The person looked at me and said, “Oh, is something wrong?”
I thought it was a girl because of the braids but he is a man.
“Uh yes, I got separated from my mom and I couldn’t find her. My phone is also in my mom’s bag. So could you please help me?”
“Ah, sure.” The guy said.
I called my mom with his phone but it was power off. I heavily sighed.
“Hey, you ok? You are sweating a lot.”
“No, my mom’s phone is powered off.” “I don’t know what to do anymore.” “I don’t even know how to get back to my home.”
“But you know the place right? I will drive you to your home." "But shall we find your mom first?"
“Ah, Thank you, sir.”
“Don’t call me sir. That makes me feel old.” “Call me Ran instead of sir.” “What’s your name?”
“Oh, I’m Y/n.”
“That’s a beautiful name.” “I think we are the same age. How old are you?”
“I’m gonna be 18 in three days."
“Oh, I’m 23. We are 5 years apart. Damn, I thought we are the same age, haha.”
