Time passed,
Ran told me to come outside, he is waiting for me inside his car. I get into his car and he drives. We didn’t talk for a while until he said-
“Does something happen to you sweetheart?”
“No, not at all,” I replied.
“That’s good then.” He said.
“Ran, what is your last name?”
“Oh darling, you don’t know my last name all these years?”
I just nodded.
He chuckled. “It’s Haitani dear.”
The moment I heard his last name, I keep talking in my mind. So Rika was right. What should I do?
But I don’t think he is still a criminal like before. He might be changed.
Last 7 years ago, he was a good guy when I met him.

A few mins later, we arrive at his mansion. It was bigger than I thought. We get in the mansion and Ran shows me everything in this mansion. After that, he shows me my room.

“I’m going back to work because I have a meeting with Bonten executives. I will be back at 10 or 11 pm okay?”
And then he left.
The mansion is really big but he lives alone. Seems like he doesn’t live together with his brother Rindou.
I went for a walk in the garden for a while. After that, I take a shower and then rest in the bed. I’m kinda sleepy so I sleep for a few minutes.
I feel someone's arms hugging around my waist. I turned my back and it was Ran.
"Oh, I fall asleep, sorry." "What time is it now?" I asked.
"It’s 11:30 princess."
"I slept too much."

I sighed.

Today is the day of our engagement party. I called my aunt to come but she said she will only come at our wedding.
Rika is also busy with her work so she also didn’t come.
So, we celebrate our engagement party with a few people.
But all of the Bonten executives come because Ran invited them.
After everyone arrives, Ran grabs my waist and whispers into my ear. “I have a surprise for you, darling.”
He pulled out a red box from his pocket and open it. It’s an engagement ring.
He kneels his one knee and said “Will you marry me Y/n?”
“Yes!” I smiled and said.
He grabbed my waist and then kissed me on the lips softly. Everyone started clapping their hands and saying congratulations.
After we end the party, we go to a fancy restaurant for a date. He books the whole restaurant because he doesn’t want to get disturbed by other people.
“Darling, is there anything you want or to do?”
I shook my head and said, “not at all babe.”
“Let me know if you need or want something. Okay, my dear?”
I smiled and nodded.
“Ran, you know… I’m so glad to have you by my side. I love you so much.”
“Love you too darling” he hold both of my hands and kissed my hands.
After we finished eating, we went back to our mansion.
