The book is coming to and end so and my estimation is that it's like three chapters left. The last chapter is already written hah

Dream POV

After his encounter with Wilbur and Fundy, Dream chose to head home and take a short nap before the fight. He woke up with a pounding headache and thanked higher powers for it being Techno's time to shine tonight and not his. He'd been on edge ever since his meeting with Fundy and Wilbur. Everything seemed to startle him.

A warm shower sounded like a great idea, so that was his next move. Tired green eyes were staring back at him when he looked in the mirror. He was a lot happier than before but those stupid lies were breaking him down. His hair was way too long and unkept, but it wasn't like he'd any time to fix it now. Plus, his time here was slowly running out anyways. The thought of having to leave this place filled him with both relief and sorrow. It wasn't possible to keep this up for much longer. He was walking on eggshells.

The scar from Techno's knife still remained and the weird-ass bitemarks was still visible. Yet, none of them compared to his facial scar, it had taken a long time to accept. He wasn't superficial, however it still bothered him slightly.

The warm water from the shower was always a blessing. He'd been thinking about where to go after all of this was over. The location wasn't something he'd figured out yet, but he sure hoped that it would be somewhere warm. Maybe like Bali or Barbados.

Dream shook his head. It was wishful thinking. He couldn't allow himself such luxuries. His shower was over just in time for someone to knock at his door.

"You better give me at least a minute if you don't want a naked surprise."

It definitely was a short minute before the door opened and George stormed in. Dream had just managed to get a green pair of cargo pants on.

"Why the rush, shorty." Dream teased but George didn't bite and grabbed a hold of the arm that Techno had stabbed. George's distress was obvious, and Dream furrowed his brows at the observation. He put his hands on George's shoulders.

"Hey, hey. Calm down. What's going on?" George glanced at him with a weary look. "How well do you handle knives nowadays? Like real knives, not throwing knives." Dream tilted his head in confusion. This was definitely not the direction he thought the conversion would be heading.

"Better than before, but certainly not that well." George got more tense and started chewing on the inside of his cheek. "What if your life depends on it?" Dream put on a black t-shirt before leading them both out of the bathroom and told George to sit down on his bed.

"Okay, George what's going on?" But just as George was about to begin explaining, Dream sensed the little black object in his pocket.

Oh, he would so end up in hell.

But he turned on the recorder.

"I gave you a promise, but I failed you." A deeply unsettling feeling entered Dream's body at George vague confession. "What do you mean?" Dream asked carefully, not even sure if he wanted the answer.

George buried his head in his hands and mumbled something incomprehensible. Dream sat down beside the distressed brit on the green bed.

"George...?" Dream said while carefully taking George's hand. The brunette flew up like the touched burned him. "You're either going to die or gonna have to kill Techno." George nearly screamed. Dream stood up and tried to reach for the stressed-out individual in front of him but without the desired result. So, he decided to try and calm the other down with his words.
