AS I REACH Lauren's door, I took a deep breath, straightened up my clothes and knocked on the door. To my suprise, Lucas opened the door! He's so cute. He's was my crush when I was in 4th Grade. "Hi Claire! How's it going?" Lucas asks and hugs me. I can feel butterflies in my stomach. "Erm... I'm fine. Nice to meet you Lukey! Been quite a long time since we've seen each other." I giggle a bit at the end "Yep. C'mon in now. Our buddies are waitin' for ya." he smiles, grabs my hand and leads me inside.

I'm talkin' to my buddies: Alfie and John. "Hey Niall, look. Claire's here." Alfie says pointing to their direction. My eyes quickly made contact with Claire and Lucas holding hands. My eyes widened. Are they dating? What the hell am I seeing? Is this really-. My thoughts got interrupted by John's hand slapping me "Niall?! Dude, wake up. Claire's saying hi to you." "Whoa-what? Oh hi Claire." I say still staring at Lucas and her's hand "Is there something wrong? Are you okay, Niall?" she says her face with concern "Yeah. I-uh I'm fine." "He must be hungry. Don't worry, Niall. Food's coming." John says and pats my stomach "Haha. Ow." I give him an annoying look. They think that food's always important to me. Well, that's wrong. I just met her the other day and I am already in love with her. Yeah it may sound cheesy but it's true.
I stand up from my chair and walk towards Zoe "Hey Zoe," I say "Yeah?" "Who's that guy holding Claire's hand? Are they together?" I ask as I look at both of them "He's name's Lucas, they were best friends since 4th grade and no they're not together," "It doesn't look like best friends to me," I say "Hey calm down Irish guy. Why don't you go to them and do a little chit chat. By the way, I sense jealousy from you Niall," She nudges me " Erm.. yeah. I like her. Don't tell it to anyone." I say "Okay. Go on now! Do some social time with them." Zoe now knows that I like her! Hope she doesn't tell her or else I'm dead meat. I walk towards Claire, Lucas and Kate "Hello everyone! Mind if I join your conversation?" I ask "Of course! Don't mind at all." Claire says with a smile. Lucas looks a bit bothered but I don't care. "Whatcha guys talkin' about?" I ask "Well, you see the three of us have been best mates since 4th grade. So yeah we're doing a bit of a throwback to what happened before." Kate explains "Oh! Well I feel a bit out of place 'cause you guys have known each other for a long time now," I say with a small laugh "Yeah so why don't ya talk to your best mates: Alfie and John over there and stop bothering us." Lucas insults and pushes me lightly "Do you really need to be that rude? I was just trying to be nice, arsehole!" I push him harder. We have received some stares from the other people invited "Hey, hey stop fightin' now. This is supposed to be a get together not a fight match." Lauren says and separates me and Lucas "But he called me an arsehole!" Lucas insists "But you treated Niall rudely, Luke. Stop fighting or I'll kick one of you out of this get together." Lauren says "Okay," I say as well as Luke. He gave me a death glare before going inside the kitchen. I breath heavily and sat on the couch beside John. "What happened there mate?" asks John "That Lucas told me to get outta their conversation but I was being nice. He's such an arsehole." I say feeling angry "I agree. He's a dumbass." Alfie says in agreement with me as well as John.
"Hey Niall, are you okay?" I hear Claire's voice. I see her walking towards me. "Erm... we'll leave you two." John awkwardly says and leaves us followed by Alfie. I can feel my heart beating fast. I hope I don't blush. "I guess so. Can't believe Luke would burst into anger like that," I say as I held my hands to keep them from shaking. "I'm sorry for Luke. I didn't believe that he would do that. I'm just sorry, Niall," she says while looking at me with full of concern "No, you don't need to be sorry. It's not your fault," I assure her with a smile and she smiles back. Geez! I hope she doesn't see my blush. "Are you blushing?" she asks with a smile on her face and pokes my cheek lightly "No I'm not!" I say slapping her finger lightly "Yes you are, Niall James Horan! You're such a bad liar." she says with a cute laugh. "Ehem! Lovebirds alert." Zoe says "Stop it! We're not lovebirds." Claire says with a blush on her face "Ha! See you're blushing too," I say while pointing her cheek. We joked for about a minute. She's so cute. I just like her alo- no that's not right. I love her. That's the right one.

Niall's so cute! What?! Did I just say that? No Claire control yourself. Me and Niall are joking around when Lauren calls us "Everybody please form a circle in the middle! We're gonna play spin the bottle with a twist of truth or dare." We obey and sit in the middle forming a circle consisting 10 people. Sat on Lauren's left is Jenna and on her right is Luke. Beside Luke is Kate then beside Kate is Zoe then Alfie, John, Faith, Niall and me. So I'm sitting beside Jenna. "So the mechanics. First, I will be the one asking you guys. I spin this bottle then whoever it points I will ask that person truth or dare then he/she must do the truth or dare. Simple as that." Lauren explains.
She spins the bottle and the first person it points is Niall. "Okay Niall, truth or dare?" Lauren asks "Dare." Niall responds "Oh!" Zoe exclaims and she whispered something to Lauren. Oh God! I hope she won't tell her about the thing between me and Niall a while ago. Lauren looks at me mischievously "Niall, I dare you to kiss Claire on the lips and take a picture of it." Lauren says. Sh*t! It's happening. Niall looked at me awkwardly then sat beside me. He smiled a little at me and whispered something to me "Claire are you sure about this?" His hot breath on my ear gives me goosebumps. I nod in acceptance of the dare. He leaned in as well as I did. I already hear cheers from my other friends. Our lips touched and I heard Niall's phone click signalling that the picture was taken. I didn't just hear one click of the camera. I heard multiple. I guess the others took a picture of us too. After our kiss, I look at him and he smiles at me and I smile back. I also blushed crimson red.
The game consumed 2 hours of our time. It's already 10:45pm and the others already went home. The only ones left are me, Niall and Lauren. Of course it's her house! So yeah me and Niall were the only ones left. "I think you guys should go home. Your parents are probably waiting for ya." Lauren says "Yeah. Okay. Thanks Lauren for the get together!" I say. Niall also thanked her. We walked outside of her house. "Do you mind if I walk you home?" Niall asks me "No, not at all." I reply with a smile. I want to ask him about our kiss a while ago but I'm too shy. Oh well, I should ask him. "Hey erm.. Niall," I say shyly "Yeah?" he asks "About the kiss a while ago, I'm sorry if I embarrassed you or-" I got cut off by Niall "C'mon love! Don't be always sorry. It's not ya fault," he says with a loving smile. I smile back and blush. "It was... lovely actually," he says while smiling at the ground "Are ya kiddin'?" I ask and laugh a little "No I'm not! It was really lovely. Sorry if it sounded a bit cheesy," he says and laughs. He's cute laugh! I can't believe he actually liked the kiss. "That's your house, yeah?" he asks pointing at the house on the left "Yeah. How'd you know?" I ask "You see, I just live a few houses further there. Sometimes, I see you walk from here to the school, " he says with a smile "Oh. Well, thank you for walking home, Niall." I say and give him a kiss on the cheek "G'night love." he says with a wide smile "G'night." I say and smiled back.
I walk inside the house. Danny walk towards me "See! He's your boyfriend!" he says nudging me "No he's not! Shut up!" I say and smack his arm. Okay. Here's the thing. I like Niall a lot. So yeah. I do have a million feelings for him.
