//I am so sorry for the long wait!
I spent the next hour or so working on the picture of Sundrop. I played some music off my phone as I did. Then, my alarm I had set on my phone went off. It was time to go. I packed up all my materials and put them away in their respective places.
I walked down the stairs, checking how I looked in the mirror on the wall. I shook off the feeling of anxiety and made my way to the door. I slipped my shoes on and put on my hat.
I stood in front of the door for a moment before nodding to myself and unlocking it, walking out, and heading out to my car.
The place we agreed on was about a 30 minute drive from my house, so not too far. I tried my best to focus on the road and not my thoughts.
Once I arrived I parked and leaned back in my chair. I ran my hand through my hair. I took a deep breath in and gave myself an encouraging nod. "Alright, let's rock this thing!" I smiled and grabbed my bag before getting up and out of the car.
When I got out there was someone waiting just outside the Pizza Plex. "You must be Y/n, here for the interview?" They asked.
I was startled but nodded nonetheless, "That's me!" I said, straightening my posture and adjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder.
They simply nodded and turned to head inside, gesturing over their shoulder for me to follow. I hurried after them and looked around the inside of the building. It looked about the same as it did before. I sighed in relief at the small sense of familiarity.
"Alright, just in here," they said, stopping in front of a door. They turned to face me, hands in their pockets. Their name tag read, "Sean".
I nodded and smiled, "Thanks Sean," I said.
They got flustered for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, yeah, I'll be at the front desk if you need me." They said, before hurrying off to what I could only assume was the front desk.
Soon after someone came out to greet me, "Ah, you must be Y/n," They said.
I nodded, "That would be me," I confirm, putting on a smile, "You must be Scott,"
He smiled and nodded, "That's me, it's good to finally meet you," he said.
"Likewise," I replied.
"So, you're here for the night guard job?" Scott asked as he led me down a hallway to a set of offices.
I nodded, "Yeah, I saw it in the paper. I came here a few days ago and really liked it so I thought I would give it a shot," I said as I followed him into one of the rooms.
He sat down at the desk and motioned for me to sit on the couch. "I see," he paused, to think, "So, You said you came here a few days ago, do you have a good idea of the building layout?" He asked.
I thought over the layout in my head and nodded, "I do, I also still have a map from the map bots in my bag," I said, remembering the aggressive nature of the map bots.
Scott nodded, "I see, you need to know the layout to be able to work here, especially at night," he said, "Most of the lights will be off so it will be hard to see. You will be provided with a flashlight thought,"
I nodded slowly, "You're talking like i got the job already, but we haven't even done any job questions. Like what skills do you have and why do you want to apply,"
Scott simply shrugged, "The position has been open for a while and we need someone to make sure the animatronics stay out of trouble. You seem capable enough," he said.
I gave him a slightly suspicious look, "Okay then?"
Scott smiled at me, "Of course! When are you willing to start? The sooner the better! Each shift starts at about 12 am and lasts till 6am." He explained, "Sorry about your sleep schedule," he laughed a bit.
I shook my head, "I can start today at 12 if you'd like," I said, thinking about it.
"Great!" Scott stood up, "Let me show you to your office and grab your uniform," he said.
I stood up as well, "Alright!" His excitement and energy was giving me energy.
I smiled to myself as I followed him out of the room and to what I assumed would be my office.
On the desk there was a uniform and a flashlight along with a tablet. It looked like I could order pizza? I laughed at that, how silly.
"Here we are!," Scott said, "Feel free to take the uniform home." He smiled and I nodded. "If you ever get hungry during your shift you can always order pizza from the kitchen. There are charging stations all over for your flashlight if you need it.
I smiled, "Thank you," i said, and with that i took my uniform and left. I got in my car after waving once more to the boy at the desk and heading home.
