Chapter 18: A sudden visit

Taeyeon's P.O.V:

I woke up from my sleep, birds chirping nearby the window.
Start of a new day, huh...
I immediately exited my room without hesitation, ready to eat my breakfast prepared by Ahjumma.

"Yummy!" I said while savoring my macaroni. Ahjumma just chuckled.
"It's delicious, right?" she smiled.
"Yes. You know, Ahjumma, this macaroni tastes like my mom's" I explained.
"Oh, really?" A different voice suddenly responsed.
"Umma?" I turn around.
"Umma!" I hugged my mom tightly.
"Why are you here? How?" I asked in disbelief.
"Of course, I want to know how my daughter is doing" she smiled as he caress my back.
"Where's appa?" I asked curiously.
"Oh, he's just sleeping on our room upstairs" she winked. I just giggled.
"By the way, honey, were going to have a dinner later with your appa, after your work" she kissed my forehead.
"Arrasso" I hugged her once again.

(After work)

"I'm home!" I shouted as I open the front door of our mansion.
"Good evening, honey!" Umma and Appa hugged me tightly, I mean tightly-really tight!
"Uhmm... Umma, Appa, I can't breath...seriously" I wave my hands repeatedly, signaling them to let me go.
"Aww... don't be like that, darling. We've never seen you in days,of course we missed you very much!" Dad pouted as they release me from their hug.
"Yeah, yeah" I rolled my eyes and kissed both of their cheeks.
"Okay, let's have our dinner" Dad led us to the kitchen.
"Good evening, Ahjumma" I greeted Ahjumma as we pass her, preparing some dishes.
"Good evening too, ma'am. I mean...Taeyeon" I flashed a smile and just nodded.

"So, honey, how's your life here?" Appa asked as we sat on our chairs, sorrounding the dining table.
"It's okay. But there are lots of differences compared to my last visit here" I stated.
"Yes, yes" Mom nodded.
"And, I already met Christine and Jungkook" I smiled.
"Do you love your work at the company, darling, is it okay for you?" Umma asked as I munch a piece of my steak. I just nodded.
"Do you still contact your friends in Seoul? Baekhyun?" she asked once again.
"Of course, mom" I smiled brightly.
"Okay, girls, just continue your chi-chat time later. Let's eat first" Appa suddenly interrupted.
"Ne"

(After dinner)

My dinner with my parents is finally over, and I'm already here plopped on my bed. Umma and Appa really bombarded me with questions, like: Do you have some problems here? Do you like your stay here, so far?
It's really stressing me!
After some minutes of relaxing, my phone suddenly rang.
"Yeobseyo? Rae Jin?"
"Taeyeon, I'm getting really worried to Baekhyun.
"Why?" My lips trembled in fear.
"He's always excusing himself ehile hanging out with us. He's always saying that something importnt came up" I can sense disappointment in her voice.
"He's been like that for a week now. But don't worry, me and the boys will find out about it" she continued.
"Okay, Gomawo. Please just call me about the news" I forced a smile. Then, the call ended.

What happened to Baekhyun?
I'm getting worried.
I really can't stop getting worried, so I called Baekhyun.
Krriiinng! Krriiinng! Krriiinng!
His phone is ringing, but he's not answering.
I gave up, so I just ended the call.
What's happening to you Baekhyun?

Rae Jin's P.O.V:

I ended my call with Taeyeon with a worried sigh.
"Finished already?" Luhan suddenly asked while hugging me from my back.
"Yup. So now, let's go home" I flashed a thin smile.
Luhan suddenly covered my mouth. I tried to remove his hand, but he suddenly pointed at Baekhyun that is walking hurriedly like he's going to be late or something.
"Let's follow him" I removed his hand quietly. He just nodded.

We followed Baekhyun for several minutes, until he stopped infront of Krystal Jung's house.
"What the?" Luhan said in disbelief.
"SSHH!" I signaled him to hide on the nearby bush while Baekhyun is just standing outside Krystal's house.
After waiting for several minutes, Krystal suddenly opened the door and hugged Baekhyun tightly.
"I missed you, jagiya!" she said softly.
"WHAT THE HELL, BAEKHYUN!" me and Luhan shouted in unison and covered our mouths immediately.
