Mitsuri was watching as Fuku whispered something into the teenagers ear. Y/N's eyes shifted slightly, not revealing much. A moment later, she disappeared completely.

Fuku turned around without even glancing at what had just happened. Something sinister was afoot.

Dead silence was just what Y/N needed after that. They had noticed how every place that they went someone was trailing them. She wasn't stupid. But that fact didn't make her feel any better about her situation.

The wind blew past their ear, birds chirping as the sun began to fall beyond the mountains and into the earth.

A bird chirped right next to Y/N's ear.

A moment later it croaked and then fell all the down the steep tree.

A smirk grew on Y/N's face.

The night had begun.

Another demon aimed a punch at the young Hashira's face.

"Sand breathing second form; Eternal Coffin," Y/N whispered under their breath. Sand sprung from her sword and enveloped the demon in a hard casing of bone crushing rock. The sand released, revealing the demon's skull completely crushed and disintegrating.

"Disgusting."

The Sand Hashira scowled at her kind. She was absolutely disgusted to be even artificially related to these beasts. Shaking their sword off, the sun had begun to rise, so they decided to return to the Shinazugawa Estate.

The moment of their return, a knock sounded against their door.

"Who the hell is it?" she growled in annoyance while trying to sleep.

"Genya."

Y/N scowled, but didn't stand up to open the door.

"I'm sorry about what happened, I overreacted and accidentally hurt somebody you care about."

"Yeah no shit."

"I'm trying to apologize."

"Yeah, and I'm not in the mood to deal with your bullshit."

On the other side of the door Genya was starting to get upset. Shinbou had advised him to apologize about what happened, but he was starting to realize she didn't take in to account Y/N's nasty mood swings.

"If I come back later, will you at least hear me out?" he tried one last time.

"Maybe."

His heart was filled with hope. He had already apologized to Inosuke but it got over with pretty quickly, and probably because Inosuke didn't even realize what Genya was meant in what he was saying.

Y/N quickly forgot about what they had said to Genya, she had other stuff on her mind. What was Muzan's plan? It was obvious that he had to keep on eye on Y/N, but there was clearly something else going on that was bigger than just keeping track of missing property.

Y/N was rather used to being able to figure things out pretty quickly, however this was deeply bothering them because they couldn't discover what was going on immediately. It icked her brain so much, that a migraine settled upon them.

Deciding to go the kitchen to make some food and probably get an ice pack, Y/N began walking in that direction so that they could do just that.

They grabbed a cup of water, and then headed outside to watch the early morning sun. The night animals had long scurried away, pheasants had strutted out into the courtyard and tried showing off to each other. It was a rather ridiculous sight, but it wasn't an awful sight first thing in the morning.

Y/N had to start coming up with a better plan to rid herself of Muzan, even if it cost her a few friends.
