While I have the time for myself, I think now would be a good time to bring an update to what's going on as a follow-up to the last one that I put out a while ago asking some questions regarding the story..

I was quite happy hearing the feedback because for once, I actually got some place to start with - so, for those who took the time to put comments in there... Thank you very much, I really do appreciate it.

Anyways,I planned to have something out for this month and had some decent progress with it ... but some things happened IRL, moved some place else - meaning that I was running all around and picking some stuff up, but at least now I can settle down and do things I guess..? so there's that..

I'm just sitting down right now writing this just to confirm that I'm not dead yet..

After looking at the feedback from the last time I posted something,I took some time to think.. and having decided on a few things, I'm making some changes to certain things within the story..

[!] Social Link Screens will be removed.

This was something that I made clear in the previous post, and it was the one thing that I wanted to do something about for the longest time.

So, I'm taking out those little segments..
and before anyone starts writing comments targeted at me - what I meant by "taking it out" is that...

Those Social Link progress screens that I'd use for certain moments with Ren and the others... while it doesn't seem that bad because it's still sticking close to the source material, I don't want this to feel more like a game than a story.. like I want to make those moments more.. natural than being a mere task.

So these parts shown on the screenshot below will be taken out and more time will be put in order to make interactions that would be a lot closer to home.

With the way Wattpad formats these too, it's.. kinda off-putting.

[!] Certain Events Tweaked.

Some events in the earlier chapters have been tweaked to make way for a mix of original events or some that's from another piece of media.

[!] Next Chapter.

So about next chapter.. I think I might be ready to get it out sometime next month.. and it will be a full chapter because the episode in the original series was split into two-parts.

And don't worry, I'm taking my time with this one... There is one thing though...

[!] Ren's Moveset

I've been playing a lot of Persona5Strikers again recently, and I took my time just studying everyone's moveset..

At the same time, somebody went into my comments and it made me realize that I haven't really utilized Ren's moveset entirely, so as I was playing - I was testing myself from going to Point A - B and yeah, there were some things that I don't think I've used much that would've made for much more convenience with some of the events that took place in the story.. so this also goes with everything else that I've talked about so far.

But this is where I also break the rules a little bit..

So, after reading the feedback from last night.. I've thought of something.

I pretty much confirmed it myself that we will be giving Ren more abilities to use in the upcoming chapters and is one that might actually start appearing soon.. and for this next half, I'm gonna be letting you all the wheel because now I want to hear some thoughts..

[?] What kind of abilities do you think will suit him?

That's gonna be the only question that I'll be asking for now and is one that I feel would be fun to see...

just.. maybe not something too overpowered .

Anyways, while this is going on - I'm currently making 3 separate Story Covers for each of the Acts that the series is stepping up to...

Those, you will be seeing at the start of their respective checkpoints - so be on the lookout for when that happens..
