A Letter to the Bully
Dear Bully,
I hope you're satisfied.
After all the times you hurt me
After all the times you made me cry
I didn't give up
Because I knew I'd make if I tried
You threw your sticks
You threw your stones
But I my fellow nerds are on my side now
And I know I'm not alone
Lately, I've been thinking
Even though you were so mean
Maybe on the inside
You weren't what you seemed
You pushed people down
Cause you thought it'd get you places
But all it really did
Was create unhappy faces
If all I've said is true
And you were hurting too
I want you to know
I feel bad for you
And after all the years
I kept my temper tame
Because I knew that one day
I wouldn't be that girl who was lame
