She's had a rough day
Everything's gone wrong
She's been in pain
The day's been too long
She's stuck in the shadows
Trying to hide
But she's really hurting
On the inside
Can't seem to get
The hate out of her head
Thinking it matters
What others have said
She looks so strong
But she's falling down
She's screaming for help at the top of her lungs
But no one can hear a single sound
She's been this way,
For quite a while
But you would know because she hides it
With a smile

Well, I was very hesitant to post this. I'm pretty sure everyone stopped reading these poems anyway. But this was originally a rough draft of a song I wrote called 'Hidden Behind Smiles.' Please tell me what you think and if I should continue the song. Thanks :)
