To them it doesn't matter
If your heart's about to tear
They don't know who you are
And they don't care
They don't understand
How much you meant what you said
They don't care how much you hurt
Or how many tears you shed
The others don't care either
They tease and they taunt
And always seem to get
Whatever they want
It never seems to matter
How much you try
Because no one cares
And all you can do is sigh
They have never put themselves
in your shoes
To them it doesn't matter
Whoever they choose
They don't know that you're great
They don't know who you are
They haven't seen your potential
And how you'll make it so far
POET'S NOTE
I wrote this poem while imagining what would happen at the 'nerd's' first audition. Obviously, she was rejected, but she didn't give up. I'm a bit attached to this poem, and I always will be. I wrote it when I thought I was rejected for something I was auditioning for, but I ended up getting the part. Yeah, a bit of an overreaction but still... Thanks for reading :)

The Nerd Who became Famous
Thơ caThis is written for all of the people who have been bullied in anyway. In these poems, I write from the point of view of a nerd who has become a celebrity. I imagined how a once bullied and now famous girl felt and wrote it down. I hope you enjoy!
