It didn't take long for more details about the future to uncover. Details that were slowly but surely chipping away at the hope the five had for things to be better. So far they'd found out about Lily and James' death and Alice and Frank being permanent residents in St. Mungo's because of Sirius' cousin.

That piece of information had stung. Alice and Frank were two of the kindest and most wonderful souls you could ever meet. But they had to be the ones to be punished with something even worse than death. Neville was just as lovely as his parents too, it wasn't hard to notice, but the poor boy would never be able to find out how amazing his parents truly were.

Lily and marauders had wanted to find out more of what was happening around this time period, but it seemed that they never had the time to. From the long and boring essays you have to write for different classes, to the constant act of hiding your true identity.

It was now the end of the first week of school. Although it felt like eternity. A large group of Gryffindors sat together in their common room. The group included Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, Dean, Seamus, Lavender, Lily, James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus. They all sat having small conversations about school, their breaks, and most of all, quidditch.

James and Sirius were having a serious conversation with Harry and Ron about which quidditch team is the better, the Holyhead Harpies or the Chudley Cannons.

"I'm telling you, mate! The Chudley Cannons are a hundred times better that then those Harpies! The work way more in sync." Ron exclaimed.

Sirius said after Ron, "I bet me and Jayden could do professional quidditch someday." He said in a proud tone.

Harry leaned more into the conversation, "You two play quidditch?! What position?"

James and Sirius both vigorously nodded. James spoke up, "I played chaser in our old school ever since I was allowed too, Sierre was the keeper."

Harry responded back in a just as passionate tone, "Really!? I've been playing seeker since my first year too!"

Hermione added to what Harry was saying, " Well if we're speaking and technicalities here, Harry, you're now captain."

Lily, who was sitting right across Hermione spoke up, "Wait a moment, didn't your school only allow second years and up to participate in the quidditch team?" She looked at the trio in question.

Dean laughed at the memory he just relived. "We'll it's actually a pretty funny story..."

Seamus continued Dean's words, "Harry was defending Neville during our first quidditch lessons, since Malfoy was messing with his remembrall-"

Neville winced quietly at that moment, rubbing his wrist.

"Malfoy flew up in the air with the brooms we were given, Harry followed him, Professor McGonagall saw, and gave him the seeker position."

Remus, Sirius, Pete, and especially James gaped at Harry. Lily just shook her head.

That does sound like something James would do.

"That's wicked, Harry!"

Lily smacked James' shoulder at what the boy had said. "What Jayden is trying to say is, you could've gotten expelled for that. If you were caught by any other teacher, you would've been carrying your luggage back home", she spoke in a very motherly tone.

James was rubbing his shoulder and mumbled under his breath, "Always turning to violence.." He thought nobody heard him, but he was just loud enough for Harry and Lily to hear him. Lily glared at him which made James' eyes widen, while Harry was smiling at the pair.

They reminded him so much of how Sirius said his parents were. Always arguing about the smallest things, but in the end of the day, they would die for each other without a second thought.

Remus pulled out a piece of chocolate from his pocket and nibbled on it while looking at the situation unfolding. Hermione noticed this and commented, "Our old DADA teacher always used to carry around chocolate like you."

This comment made the group's attention divert to Remus and Hermione.

"Your professor you had after the Quirrel guy?" Peter asked.

Harry shook his head, "No, the professor we had during our second year was Gildory Lockhart. I doubt he would be the kind of person to eat chocolate. He'd probably think it would damage his perfect smile." His and many others' faces scrunched in disgust of Lockhart's name. Lily and the marauders tried to hide the shock that was written on their faces, but they weren't fast enough, because their facial expressions were caught by a certain clever brunette.

"Than who was the teacher you were talking about?" Sirius questioned.

Now the Gryffindors were wearing smiles in their faces, remembering how wonderful their teacher was.

"Professor Lupin." Ron said.

Sirius fell out of the chair that was leaning on. He landed on the ground with a loud thump. Remus smiled slightly. He'd always wanted to become a teacher, but he thought his lycanthropy would've been an issue.

"You alright pads?" James asked his best friend.

Harry's eyes widened significantly at that nickname. He'd heard Remus call Sirius that exact same nickname. It was probably a coincidence right?

"But what happened to him? He clearly isn't the teacher anymore." Remus asked, curious to see why his future self isn't teaching anymore.

Hermione answered his question, "He resigned at the end of our third year because word came out of the fact that he was a werewolf." She smiled sadly.

Neville sighed. "I miss him, he was the only teacher that actually helped us learn."

Remus smiled to himself, happy to know that he was a good teacher. Sirius smiled proudly at his boyfr- friend. James' gave him a pat on the back and Peter smiled and raised his eyebrows at the boy. Lily just smiled kindly at Remus.

With a few more pointless conversations, everyone returned back to their dorms. All falling into blissful slumbers.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it!

I want to clear some things up about this story.

PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THIS NEXT INFO

Firstly, the marauders and Lily are going to find out about everything going on, pretty early in the story, because I have much bigger and more important plans for this book.

Whenever, I read a book where the marauders travel to Harry's timeline, I always feel sort of unsatisfied with the amount of time Harry spends with his parents, whilst being aware of the fact that he's spending time with his parents, so I'm going to try and fill up that grey area.

Adios.
