As the large group of students walked through the snow-glazed grounds of Hogsmede, a trail of footprints were being left behind. Real smiles were present on every corner of the place.

There was something so comforting about Hogsmede. Perhaps it was the warm and welcoming smell that was in every corner, perhaps it was because Hogsmede seemed to be the only place where people felt safe, with the exception of Hogwarts itself.

Lily and James split up from the group, so that they could enjoy their date by themselves. Lily's nose was slightly pink from the cheek cold, she huddled closer to James as a way to feel warmer. Which made the boy's already large grin grow even bigger.

"Now, where to first Lilyflower??" James whispered to Lily, making sure nobody heard him say the nickname.

Lily thought for a moment before saying, "How about we go to Honeydukes, then we can go to Three Broomsticks to warm up with a drink."

James smiled at Lily and said the word, "Perfect."

"The idea?"

"No, you are."

The girl blushed red, hoping that James would think that it was just because of the cold. Although, basing off of how James' facial expression looked like, she had failed to do so.

"The idea's good too, so how about we head to Honeydukes, m'lady." James bowed in a prince-like way, making Lily happily curtsy back and grab onto the hand that he'd outstretched for her.

Today's going to be a good day.

James held the door for Lily to enter and entered after her. The shop was covered at every corner with magical candies of every kind imaginable.

"Do you want anything in particular, James?" Lily casually slid her hand into James' as she said the words.

It was now James' turn to blush. A tingly feeling ran through his stomach.

"No, do you?"

Lily shook her head.

They approached the counter together, a kind old man smiled at the pair. He was large, had thick white hair and a stubble. He wore a bright, striped, warm toned, sweater with a pair of dark blue trousers.

The man cheerfully introduced himself, "Hello! I'm Ambrosius Flume, owner of Honeydukes. Is there anything in particular you two would like?"

"Can we have two of everything?"

Lily started at James wide eyed after he said the words.

"Now, love, why are you looking at me with that face?"

"What do you mean by that? You just bought two of everything at this shop. There's probably a couple hundred kinds of candies here!"

Ambrosius added onto what they were talking about, "Actually there's a couple thousand, but that's no issue! I have a very useful tool in my hand right here!"

The man shows his wand to the couple and with one wave of it, dozens of candies were floating into a bag. They all floated above the heads of everyone at the crowded shop. Some little kids looked up to see the candy that was flying in the air.
