"So you're telling me you were brought here by father to --." Yeji looked at Jay who was across the room before she spoke.

"...to spy on Jay?" She whispered as she went closer to Niki making sure Jay wouldn't be able to hear.

"Actually I'm already aware about everything." Jay went close to the two as he sat himself down beside Niki.

He put his hands together and began discussing it with Yeji and Niki. "Me and Niki decided to form an alliance.

Yeji seemed interested and was ready to listen if it was matters concerning her brother.

"Father and Hyunjin are planning treason against the imperial family." Niki began to talk. "What?!" Yeji couldn't believe it,she knew brother was a bit crazy but not to this extent!

"But why?" Yeji asked

"For power of course." Jay replied with a poker face.

"That's not entirely the case,Hyunjin isn't one to do anything rash for something as petty as that." Niki also talked.

"Alright, let's say he isn't after power, what's his motive? You're his brother you must know something." Jay inquired with Niki,eager to know Hyunjin's sinister intentions.

"Niki and Hyunjin aren't close, it's more likely a business type of relationship than family." Yeji mumbled.

Jay sighed. "Alright, but we will need your help."

"What should I do?" Yeji asked,prepared to help in any shape and form she could.

"We need you to spy for us,we cant risk getting any of the staff as spies, it's too risky. We need someone whose closer to them than the maids,than the butlers. And that happens to be you."

Yeji nodded in agreeance. "Whats the plan anyway?"

"We'll need to get as much information about he rebellion as we can,when, where,and how." Jay replied.

"With that,we may be able to inform the emperor about the coup to get them arrested before they can make a move." Niki added.

"So stop it before it's even started, Alright I'll do it."

"But...why are you adamant about stopping the rebellion Jay?" Yeji asked,curious about what Jay's motives were.

He had no ties to the imperial family,honestly he should've hated them for approving of his exile and yet here he is trying to help them.

"Because they're Jungwon's family, and I dont want him to be in heartache when they die." Jay simply replied to Yeji's question.

I see. Yeji thought.

She glanced at Niki who looked upset,his eyes drooped in sadness and he had 'that' look, someone who looked like they lost a war.

Riki's expression pierced a part in Yeji's heart. That kind of expression would be enough to make anyone also look upset.

Why does he look like that? Yeji asked herself,her thoughts filled them worry for her younger sibling.

On the other side though,Sunoo waited outside of the door waiting patiently for the three to come out,as he had questions himself.

The huge doors that led to the room opened,letting out Yeji,Jay,and Niki.

Why is Window boy with them? Does he work for Jay? Is that why he was there that day?? Sunoo asked himself in pure confusion as he desperately tried to think up an explanation.

He saw Yeji walk out and he immediately stood up. Yeji walked towards Sunoo holding both of his hands. "Im sorry I brought you here." She apologized.

Uncomfortable, Sunoo quickly let go of her hands. "Sorry, it's just uncomfortable." He also apologized back instead.

Yeji giggled at his silliness. "Anyways, whose window boy?" Yeji inquired.

Sunoo's eyes shivered in panic. God right I said that out loud. He recalled.

"Its NO ONE!" He shouted. The three of them looked at him like he was a bit cuckoo before stopping eventually.

Sunoo looked so embarrassed,he turned his back from them as he let out quiet screams on his own. The trio once again looked at him like some sort of maniac,but they didnt care that much.

What a strange guy. Niki had thought.

"Riki lets talk outside." Yeji grabbed Niki's arm,dragging him outside. Yeseul was ready go follow them but Yeji stopped her.

"But milady--."

"Let us talk in private please."

Yeseul gave in and decided to leave them alone per her lady's orders. She bowed as she stepped back, watching her lady leave.

Yeji brought Niki to the garden once again,to have a one-on-one talk with him,ot she just simply wanted to ask where that expression came from.

"Niki did you ask father to let you come here?" Yeji asked the younger.

Niki's eyes widened as he heard what his sister had said. She's too witty.

"You really know everything noona." He joked. Yeji smacked him on his arm,having no room in her life for silly pranks or jokes.

Niki groaned in pain for a few moments before he began to talk. "Mm I begged them to let me work here at the price of spying for them."

"Riki why?!" Yeji interrogated,grasping the arms of her younger brother,almost as if she was begging him.

"Because I like Yang Jungwon."

This made Yeji falter,it was the exact answer she wish he wouldn't say. She grasped her chest thinking about the pain her brother went through seeing Jay and Jungwon together.

"Yeji, You're the best sibling I could ask for...but I'm grown now,you dont have to carry the burden of my problems."

Yeji couldn't contain herself and went to give Niki the warmest embrace. "Niki...It will be okay." She patted Niki's back.

Niki let out a tear,he clinged onto Yeji as he sobs in her arms. Love has changed him,he now cries and values life once again.

The once depressed and unexpressive Niki was able to get back on his feet because of his feelings for Jungwon. Is this what it's supposed to feel like? Was it supposed to hurt? Niki asked himself,as he gave a sorrowful grin.

"Im so glad...you've learned to love again." Yeji exclaimed as she hugged Niki warmly.
