A couple of days pass..

Mirko was sure that her plan couldn't fail. After two days of setting things up, she had convinced hawks to head to one of the nearby bars with her. The one that just so happens to be their agreed meetup location. It had taken a lot of careful nudges to get him to go, but it would all be worth it in the end.

She replayed her plan in her head over again once more.
Me and hawks enter the bar and sit nearby the karaoke stands while I'll order us a few drinks, one of them being Y/N's favorite. Making sure he doesn't get too drunk before they get here'll be easy enough, and I can sit in on the conversation to make sure he doesn't mess anything up badly. Mirko thought about her idea over and over again before they left. Mirko found them really interesting, especially through their texts. However as they both had arrived, things already got off to a shaky start.
Ding !

The place was more crowded than expected, almost all of the seats next to the karaoke bar had already been taken, and too many people already sat there that there was a high chance they'd be seen through their disguise. Quickly scanning the area, she saw a couple of seats near the bar instead. Not ideal, but I'll take it. Grasping his arm, she led him to the stools and ordered five drinks, two of them including drinks Y/N had previously mentioned. "Woah, what's with this sudden rush?" He questioned. "It's nothing, just ready to get drunk—! Here, have some." He shrugged and picked up one of Y/N's and she interjected, "oh, not that one." Hawks stared at her like she was crazy, "alright.."

"Not that one either- here take this one." She slid her drink over to him, slightly eyeing the front door. Hawks noticing, got more and more suspicious. "Okay what's going on here? You're acting strange."
"I'm not acting like anything, geez!" She got defensive, until she noticed one of the faces that slipped through the door. "Y'know what, whatever you say. Let's just enjoy ourselves, okay?" He grabbed her shoulder and shook it lightly before letting go but she couldn't focus. "They're here." She mumbled, hawks turning in their direction out of confusion. "!! Rumi, that's Y/N!" He shook her shoulder rougher in surprise, but Rumi was more distracted. You had looked gorgeous, and for a second Mirko felt a slither of jealousy. "Do you mind if I ask her to come over..?" Mirko nodded, before hawks slides out of his seat and went up to surprise you. Grabbing a few shots, Mirko quickly threw them down, ignoring her current feelings as much as possible.

"Oh hey! I'm really glad you were able to make it!" You hollered out to him, the man in some sort of mustache. "Yeah, hey! Sorry about this look, its a bit of a privacy related thing." He admitted. You had to admit, he did look pretty silly even if it was a personal protocol. "So, we already got some drinks if you want to come sit with us!"
What does he mean us? "Us? I thought this was just the two of us." You assumed it would just be them, considering it was a date. Or you at least thought of it as a date. Did I assume wrong?
"Oh, one of my friends came along with me. Don't worry, she's pretty cool." He got up and signaled to follow him as he led to a lady with white hair and strong body. She had been throwing down shots until she felt a tap on her shoulder. "Hey Rumi, this is Y/N! I've told you about her." You flashed a smile, causing Rumi to allow a wobbly smile on her face as well.

Holy— she looks badass!
You thought, not knowing whether to feel intimidated or impressed. "Hey!" You mustered up the courage to say, only to be met with a confused face as she oddly hiccuped. "I think she might be drunk, but do you mind staying with her while I go and check something out?" He looked at his surroundings, scanning the area. "Uhm, go ahead!" You assured him, side-eyeing one of the many drinks laid out. As hawks disappeared into the crowd of people, you motioned for one of the drinks. "Hic- hey-!" Mirko squeaked out loud. "How many drinks have you had??" You asked, looking at the lady who seemed awfully close to passing out. "Just one, and five!" You ordered her some cold water, "Sheesh, drink up, alright?" Sliding it in her direction.

Picking up the glass, she shakily drank the water, her head ever so slightly becoming clearer. "So, how do you know hawks? Do you guys like, work together or..?" You trailed off your sentence, hoping Mirko would connect the dots. "Huh?"
"Did you guys used to date, I mean?? Or are you guys just friends?" You said, a slight amount embarrassed. "Oh, hell- no! I would never date him." She said, gulping down another flow of water. She could hear the sigh of relief, chuckling in response. "You thought I would date him?" She repeated, the whole thought causing her to laugh up a storm. "No! I mean—" You mustered in an attempt to cover yourself, but it was no use. "Sure, he's a good looking guy. Even I can admit that. But— I'm just incapable of being interested in him like that." Her voice had gotten steadier, and easier to understand. "I get that. Your pretty cool, Mirko." You smirked, exchanging glances. "Same to you, Y/N." Mirko picked up one of her shot glasses, and clanked it with yours.
