3. House In The Middle Of Nowhere

Soobin slowly and carefully made him way towards the palace gates. He stopped his tracks and thought back to the conversation he had with his father.

"What would you do if you wanted to something but you're too worried about the consequences of your actions" soobin asked his father.

"In your situation I would say 'fuck it' and do whatever I want" soobin giggled as he waited for his father to continue

"but I unfortunately cannot because I am a king who has a kingdom to look after. You, however, are free of those responsibilities for now. So I would suggest enjoying the time you have"

"Thanks dad. I love you"

"I love you too. But please don't tell your mother about this conversation" the king pleaded

"no promises" soobin giggled as his father smacked his arm

"kids these days. Now shut up and go to sleep it's late."

"alright good night" soobin said as he watched his father stand up

"good night, love" said the king before his lips met his son's forehead.

"fuck it I'm doing this" he said as determination flowed through his veins. He slowly took another step towards the exit.

"Are you really that stupid?" soobin jumped at the voice behind him. But that fear instantly faded when he saw who it was.

"Are you serious I could've died right there." soobin out a hand over his chest to calm his heartbeat

"No you wouldn't die because of us you will die one day because of your stupidity" said the shortest out of the three

"What do you mean?" a confused soobin started at the two people now in front of him

"why the hell are you sneaking out through the main gate, do you really have a brain?" spoke the cousin while smacking soobin's head.

"why do you both keep hitting me I'm the older one here" soobin said while rubbing his head

"because apparently the so called responsible eldest needs some sense driven into the 2 inch brain of his" said the silver haired.

"you're no better though" It was now the blonde throwing taunting remarks at the second prince

"as if you are" Beomgyu spat back

"okay we're all dumb but can we please get back to the topic now" soobin interrupted the two before they're bickering could get too loud and reached the ears of the guards.

"What is the topic anyway?"

"I don't know maybe the 'why are you two here and why are you stopping me from sneaking out of the main gate which is very stupid of me I admit' topic"

"oh right. Follow us we know a way out" hueningkai grabbed soobin's wrist and led him inside the castle.

"why are we going to Mr. Kang's room?" soobin huffed

"just shut up and trust us for two minutes at least" said his brother

Soobin huffed. Soon he saw his cousin poking different stones on the wall while muttering one thing like 'it should be here somewhere' until he finally found what he was looking for.

Soobin was startled when he heard a light rumble as a small part of the stone wall started moving. Was he spooked? Definitely. Did he think his family was about to murder him right now? Maybe

"What the hell is this"

"oh this? it's where Mr. Kang practices witchcraft and keeps experimental victim's dead bodies. It's a tunnel you idiot what the hell else would it be" yet again beomgyu smacked soobin's head

"to put it in cliché words it's a secret passage" beomgyy visible cringed as he said that. What was this a bedtime story for 2 year olds.

"I don't know I'm just shocked to see a hole in the wall of the room that seemed pretty normal to me for the past 17 years. How long have you two even known about this" soobin said while shielding his skull.

"a month or two I think. We just discovered it one day while- we'll let's not discuss what we were doing"

"and you have never tried sneaking out?" soobin questioned

The two looked at each other, realising how dumb they've been this whole time. Soobin looked at them, feeling satisfied to know he's not the dumbest in the trio.

The three slowly made their way through the forest. The tunnel they ahd used, led to a door on the ground right outside the palace walls.

They luckily avoided all guards and now 'successfully' made to the middle of a forest they don't kmwo their way through. But not to worry, they have magic to solve all their dumb problems.

"okay time to split up. Make sure to be right here in an hour. We have to make it back before sunrise" beomgyu said before walking away, not sparing the other two a glance

"I guess this is goodbye" hueningkai stated

"stop being dramatic" soobin rolled his eyes.

"be the youngest, they said. It'll be fun, they said" he sighed dramatically.

Soobin was walking through the forest admiring the beauty of nature under the moonlight. As he spotted a small house.

A house in the middle of a forest. How ironic it is that our other remain character also lives in a house in middle of a forest.

He slowly made his way towards the house. Not that he was expecting someone to welcome him inside I Mena who would treat a guest at 3 am, he was just curious as to who the hell would build a house in the middle of nowhere.

He cautiously romaed around the house while peeking in through the small and surprisingly very clean windows. He knew it was wrong to inspect someone's house like that but then again, curiousity.

When he saw no sign of life inside the house, he tried to take a closer look through the window until he heard a loud voice.
