Chapter 3 Welcome to the big leagues

5 days after Dominic won his match making him 11-0-0 in his fighting career Vinny gets a call offering Dominic and him a chance to fight at the big events but Vinny didn't feel like it was the right time for Dominic yet and declines without telling Dominic and tells him what you standing about  for that bag won't punch itself get to work come on son. after training Dominic plans to meet up with  Samantha to talk about their relationship because he didn't want to hold her back but Samantha told him before he said anything I will not let u break up with me i will be there always no matter what and that made him feel happy and feel so secure. later on in the day Dominic gets a call up to the big leagues with every famous world champions including Floyd money Mayweather and iron mike Tyson and many others but then finds out his deal was rejected by Vinny. Dominic runs to the centre to see why Vinny rejected his chances to become all time great. he finally saw Vinny and ask why Vinny you son of a bitch do this to me this was the greatest opportunity and you blew it for me what did I do wrong to deserve that. Vinny said son sit down and let me tell you the full story then the moment finally came for vinny his past finally caught up with him and he will have to face the nightmare so he starts from the beginning what happened once Vinny told him everything Dominic couldn't believe what he heard from Vinny and walks away and Samantha said to Vinny hope your happy grandad and walks away to catch up with Dominic to make sure he was ok but Dominic started punching walls and broke down in Samantha arms wondering what to do Samantha tells him never give up his dream for anything  next day  Dominic gets a call by Vinny I thought about what you said kid I will accept this invite for you since you want this the most than ever but don't cry to me if you become too famous and selfish for money and greed because your old man did the exact same thing but as long you keep your head in the right frame of mind then you can be whatever you want to become. the first match was rumoured to be Dominic Diaz Jr vs Eddie jones a hard hitter and brawler from the United Kingdom who has more losses in his career than anyone else his record 1-0-7 but then a phone has been made to make the match official on national Television all over the world. 3 weeks later the beginning of the weigh in first up was the debut of the future star Dominic  Diaz Jr weighing in at 235 pounds and has more advantage over his opponent weighing in 234 pounds and shorter by 5 inches off but people fancy Dominic to win both men shake hands and showed respect then came the Dominic debut in front of 5,560 fans in the stadium with 6 rounds in the fight most people are wondering will follow to be like his dad or be a flop. before Dominic heads out Samantha and his mom came in to wish him the best of luck. Vinny walks in to prepare Dominic for his real test to see how focused and determined for this match he kept saying to Dominic keep moving forward and frustrate him he can't handle the speed and quickness he will down on his name trust me kid he will not want you have got and that's heart. its time guys Dominic walks out ready to go hearing a few cheers and then came his opponent walking down to the ring. then the ring announcer introduced the both fighters then both the fighters went back to the corners  until the bell rang Dominic starts off with body jabs and then a few jabs to his opponent but it didn't seem to effect his opponent but then all of a sudden Dominic took a few hard blows to the gut and body as he just barely shrugs off looking for a weak point on his opponent. the bell rang and that was the end of the 1st round both fighters went to their corners vinny tells Dom what's he's doing wrong he's leaving himself vulnerable to getting knocked until he realised what his opponent weakness was it was his jaw. he has a glass jaw that can be shattered so round 2 began with Dominic hitting hard strikes on the jaw and doing 1-2 combos with the uppercuts. Dominic manages to get his opponent down for the count of 6 showing that positive sign managing to weaken the jaw of his opponent then round 2 ended coming up for the 3rd round with Dominic landing finally a TKO to his opponent and wining his first competitive match in his career then after that Dominic went on to be 5-0-0 in his competitive career with no loses so far if Dominic keeps wining he might be getting a title shot for the world heavyweight championship belt. he will need to keep his head focused and not let things distract him. 2 weeks later Samantha went and told Dominic she had some news about her. she was pregnant but had a miscarriage leaving Dominic really in a bad mindset until he started getting into the set of mind and feeling ready to go even though he was bottling things up then his next 5 matches he went on to win pushing him close to a title shot and a record of 10-0-0  but he had began to have aggressive side to his fighting style. leaving Vinny concerned about his situation on the way things are going and with a chance to get a title shot but scared he will fall down a bad path. Dominic went to train with Vinny until he tells him go home Dominic your not ready yet to train again and to go home be there Samantha she needs you more than ever. come back until your ready so Dominic goes home to see Samantha and apologies for letting her down she goes to him and says am sorry but I can't be here or keep holding you back every time. plus I know what's important  so I won't you back any longer it got more worse than ever for Dominic. he got a phone call about his mother she had took a dizzy turn and fell down stairs and she will be scanned for test results and we will see what caused the problems and we will let you know when the time comes but we will keep her in a private ward to be watched over. then gets a unknown phone call... to be continued.
