Egan was alone in the mansion . She felt like a lonely caged bird . She met Aunt Kriti . She was nice , calm and had a small smile in her face . Aunt Kriti took Egan to her room . After arriving of Kriti , Egan's loneliness was little bit reduced . She liked her .
At night , after eating her favourite food made by Kriti , Egan asked her to tell her a bedtime story . Kriti could not turn down her request , so she started ...
"Long , long ago there was a king and queen who lived in a big house like ours . After three years of marriage , a sweet little twin came in their life . They gave them names , Sheen for the baby girl and Himadri for the baby boy . They lived happily."
She finished the story and left a sigh but Egan was not happy , so she asked her , "What happen after that ?" Kriti smiled and said , "It's time to sleep , no more questions and requests . I am going to put off the light , just have a good night sleep ." She was just going to do that but Egan stopped her and said her , " Ple... please don't d...do tha...that. Ple...please don't go . That black mon...monter would hurt me , please don't go . Please..." She started to cry and hugged her . Kriti was suprised and patted her head gently and said with a calming voice , " What monster are you talking about ? I am here , nobody would do anything to you . Please sleep otherwise your papa would scold me , do you want that little Egan ? " Egan said "no" cutely . Kriti gave her a little goodnight kiss on her head . Egan fell to sleep by holding the hand of Kriti . After realising that Egan was in deep sleep , she removed her hand and said " He is a monster indeed " and left a sigh . She went out of the room . Then she met Simon . Simon asked her , " Is she sleeping ? " Kriti replied , " Yes sir . She is sleeping and also had her dinner ." He just nodded his head lightly and said , " Good . Just do your job like this . I have something to give you tomorrow evening . Remind me tomorrow. Go to your room and rest well . Good night ." She also bid him goodnight and just going to her room but he stopped her and said her in strict voice , " Don't make yourself too close to her . I don't need minutes to fire you , put it in your head thoroughly. " Ye...yes sir " said Kriti and went to her room and closed the door . She pulled up the bed mattress and took out a thin envelope . She took out two photos...

Tears fell down from her eyes . She said , " He is a monster indeed . " She hugged it tightly and put it back like before .
On the other side , Egan was still awake and listened all the things that were spoken by Simon and Kriti . She was missing her old home where granny and granna White and other children had fun with her .
She didn't get the real warmness of a home from her father as she got that warmness from that old couple...
