"i told you to leave that girl alone billie" zoe says with a sigh making me roll my eyes.

"you know i want to" i sigh applying on some aquaphor on my lips and pack my things in a small purse.

but I just can't. she's addicting.

"okay, i'm out. if you leave please lock up and you know where to leave the key" i say to zoe.

she nods and lets me go, i walk out to see kaiya leaning against her car while on her phone.

"you look pretty mama" she compliments pulling me into her, i thank her softly while kissing her.

"come on" she says opening my door and closes it once i am settled.

"where are we going exactly?" i ask her as she starts driving, she looks over at me with a smile before checking me out and looks back at the road.

"just going to grab a bite" she shrugs placing her hand on my tight. i nod while connecting my phone to play music.

she taps her fingers along to the beat of 'NoName' music on my thigh making me smile a bit while i hum along.

"how have you been ma?" she asks pulling into a parking lot, i shrug while looking over at her to see her getting comfortable and turn to me a bit.

"i've been alright, could be better. how about you?" i ask, i watch as she pats herself down to check her things.

"nothing major" she shrugs opening the glove compartment in front of me and remove her gun from her waist to put it in.

"alright" she mumbles getting out and comes over to open my door.

"cmon pretty girl" she says retaking my hand and close the door making sure to lock the car and leads us in.

kaiya silently stares at me while we sit across each other at the table. "why are you looking at me like that?" i raise an eyebrow.

"you just look really good" she says tilting her head and flash a small smile showing her grillz.

i roll my eyes with a little blush coming in and wave her off as a waitress comes to attend us.

a little background story on me and kaiya. we dated almost three years ago, we were each other's first girlfriend' and we broke up a year and a half ago.

i broke up with her, for a reason i can't even remember.

we happen to bump into each other again, we haven't left each other alone since then.

we fuck and dip, we both know that we have our own links besides each other, literally everyone knows but they also know we're together or whatever the fuck because we aren't official.

kaiya has always put me first. if i ever call and she happen to have a girl with her, she will drop that to attend me.

same goes for her.

we don't do shit with other people in front of each other though, we respect each other and we don't tell each other about our flings.

but kaiya always wants to know, she's super protective. she only wants to know the guy's name and picture so if something happens she knows who to look for.

she doesn't go on dates though, just fucks around.

she respects me and has never embarrassed me, some girls that she's fucked have tried but she always stood up for me.

so i guess you can say we're in a open relationship without mentioning it.

i don't want to be though, i just can't bring myself to tell her because at the end of the day i broke up with her after she fell in love with me.

"what are you thinking about?" kaiya asks pulling me out of my thoughts, i look up at her and shake my head in a dismissing manner.

"nothing really, i just zoned out" i shrug and take her hand when she put it out for me to take.

"you're good though?" she asks raising an eyebrow, i nod with a smile and watch her bring my hand up to kiss my fingers.

she used to do this and always say one day she will be kissing a wedding ring in the finger but that obviously stopped when we broke up.

it's the first time she's done it in years.

my face softens at the gesture as she rubs her thumb on my hand while staring at our hands.

the waitress puts our food done and leaves after, "this looks good" i say with my mouth watering.

i love food.

we've made it a thing that we try new restaurants together and only with each other.

"thank you for today" i thank kaiya as we sit in the car on my driveway. it's past 10pm, we got caught up and went around town doing nothing specifically.

"of course baby, c'mere" she says opening her arms, i reach over to hug her tightly as she rubs my back and kiss the side of my head.

"have a good night and enjoy your date tomorrow" she tells me cupping my face to kiss me.

i have a date with some guy tomorrow and of course i told her.

"we will see" i tell her pulling away to peck her lips before pulling away, "bye" i tell her opening the door.

she rolls down the window to do our handshake and hook our ring fingers together after before pulling away.

i wave as i enter the house and lock the door, soon i hear her pull out making me sigh and take off my shoes before making my way to my room.
