Chapter 9: The Reset

[Nora's POV]
I walk back to Sans's house and Chara follows me. Frisk walks out of the house.
"Hey Nora did you sleep good?" Frisk asks and I shake my head yes.
"Want to walk with me to hotland?" Frisk asks me. I say yes, and we start to walk to hotland. Chara is silent the whole way there.
"Chara is something wrong you have been quite..?" I ask her and she crosses her arms. She looks extremely annoyed with something.
"Chara what is wrong?" I ask her and she sighs and puts her hand up to her face in disappointment.
"Why are you hanging out with Frisk?" Chara asks me. I am confused by this. Why is she acting like this?
"What do you mean Chara? She is my best friend.." I say to Chara in confusion. Chara sighs again but in this time of more annoyance.
"Look listen.. please just hang out with me.." Chara asks of me.
"I... but Chara we are always together..?" I say, Chara now looks angry.
"Hey..." Chara says. Then she goes silent.
"Heheh! FINE IF I CAN HANG OUT WITH YOU THEN I WILL RESET!" Chara threatens. Her right hand is over the reset button.
"Chara please calm down.. you may regret this.." Frisk says to Chara In concern. Chara just laughed at her, instead of giving Frisk an answer to her statement. Chara just glares at Frisk with an unsettling stare. Chara's smile is a bit unsettling as well. Chara then presses the reset button and everything goes white. I wake up on the golden flowers. Wh-what happened to everything...? Where is Frisk?
"Chara what did you do? What did you do? Where is Frisk?" I cried out. A tear fell down my face.
"Oh.. you didn't know what the reset button did..? Did you..? Don't cry my love.. everything will be just fine... when you are with me..! And me only.." Chara says with a tone that makes me shiver. She grabs my hands and helps me up.
"Now.. heheh.." Chara says and hugs me tightly. This is weird why is she acting like this?
"Now I finally understand why I was feeling like this.. because it's love not L.O.V.E. You make me feel normal again... thank you.. I love you.." Chara states. She holds me close. I start to cry.
"What is wrong..?" Chara asks as she lets go of me and holds my hand.
"I wanted to hang out with Frisk.." I say.. Chara is not to happy about that.
"I am doing this to protect you... my LOVE.." Chara says and my vision goes all weird. I no longer feel control of my body. I feel like I am being possessed by something.
"Chara what are you doing..?" I ask her but she says nothing. She says nothing at all. What is happening? Why can't I move my body. Why do I feel different. Where did Chara go? Wait.. is she inside of me.. possessing me? How is this happening? I start to cry.
"Hey...hey don't cry.. everything will be just fine!" Chara says. I start to walk to where Flowey is.
"C-chara what are you doing? Please get out of her body.. please...please don't kill me..please chara.. it's me your best friend... PLEASE.." The flower screams.
