Chapter 3: I know what we can do..

[Nora's POV]
I wake up to see Chara staring at me, it kind of made me jump. She apologizes for making me jump she just wanted to make sure that I was sleeping alright. How long was she watching me sleep for? I got up out of the bed and rub my eyes. I yawn a bit, did I not sleep that well last night? I slept better when.. w-when.. um... I should probably take a shower... so I am going to ask Toriel where the bathroom is. I walk out to the living room and see Toriel sitting in the chair that she was sitting in last night. She was reading a book about 72 facts about snails. Snails? Why snails? Eh..?
"Oh... Good Morning Nora. Do you sleep well?" Toriel asks as she looks up from her book.
"Um.. n-not really.." I say I rub my eyes again. Toriel looks a bit worried. She gets up from her chair and sets the book down. She walks into the kitchen to grab something. She walks out with another piece of the pie. It looks like it just came out of the oven. She hands me the plate and tries to eat some, but something feels off with my stomach.
"Is your stomach feeling alright? If you don't feel good, you can just eat it later. If you want to I can reheat it later." Toriel takes the plate from my hands.
"Yeah, I don't know why my stomach, just doesn't feel right. Also, can you show me where the bathroom is, so I can shower?" I ask her. She wraps the piece of pie and puts it in the fridge.
"The bathroom is next to my room. I will wash your clothes for you as you take a shower. I will try to get that bloodstain out of your sock. Good thing I healed that wound. I apologize if you got hurt." Toriel says as she sits back down in her chair and continues to read her book. I walk to the bathroom. Chara stands in the doorway, gazing at me.
"I am taking a shower. Since I don't know when the last time I took one." I turn on the shower to warm temperature. I close the door and start to get undressed. I look behind me to see chara glazing at me.
"H-hey! W-why are you in here when I am g-getting undressed!!" I shout in embarrassment. Chara stays silent and continues to stare at my half-naked body. This is.. this is kind of awkward! She walks toward me.
"H-hey what are you doing? P-please don't look at me.. y-you.. are-" I say as she grabs my face with her hands. Huh?
"Don't worry... I just wanted to see if you were alright~" I knew Chara was lying.. she .. um...
"I-I don't believe you... sorry.." Chara looked at me.. her eyes are dripping black liquid and her mouth was as well. W-what is that face.. why is it terrifying!
"Oh.. why don't you..? I just want to make sure you are safe..!" Her voice is a bit demonic-like and sent chills down my spine she also sounded angry. My eyes widen, face goes back to normal. W-what did I just see?
"How did you do that with your face it's was terrifying!" I look away... I just want to take a shower...
"Can you let me take a shower please.." I ask of Chara. She opens the door and closes it. Ok, I can finally get in the shower! I continue to get undressed and hop into the shower. I wash my hair and I hear the door open.
"Who is it?" I ask.
"It's Toriel, I just came to get your clothes so they can be nice and clean when you get out!" Toriel closes the door behind her. I hear the door open again. Huh..? I hear the door close, I can hear someone breathing, and only hear breathing.
"Um.. who is it.." I ask, but no reply. I hear footsteps walk closer to the shower. I can see a shadow through the curtain. Ch-Chara? Why is she in here!?
"C-chara what are you doing? Um... I am almost done showering." I say as I see her hand grab the curtain.
"W-what are you doing? Th-this is.." Chara opens the curtain and glares at my body. My face felt so hot that it felt like an oven. She then hands me a towel.
"For Fucks sakes. Just calm down I came In here to give you your towel so you are not cold.. also you have a nice body.. my... my... my~" I take the towel from Chara's hand and cover my body up with it, still blushing. Toriel walks in with my clothing, Chara walks out.
"Oh.. thank you Toriel!" I take my clothing from her and she walks out of the bathroom. I do feel better now that I am clean! I put my clothes on and head out of the bathroom. I walk to the living room, Chara is sitting in one of the chairs for the table. I walk over to her. She says nothing to me, but glazes at me.
"Hey.. um.. thanks for giving me the towel?" I rub the back of my neck. She pats the seat next to her, wanting me to sit by her.
"You want to know something Nora? You give me these weird feelings that I don't understand. You make me feel like I may lose my mind over you.. the fact that I wanted to kill you... but not I couldn't bring myself to.. as if I NEED to protect you.. at all costs!" Chara leans in next to me and grabs me, and pats my head. I am... I am confused.. by this.. what does Chara even want to protect me from..? What does she mean that I will make her lose her mind.. over me? Chara let's go of me and sit back In the sit. Did she want to kill me?
"What do you mean? Wait why did you want to kill me?" I ask her. She looks at me with her.
"Well I was going to kill you and take your soul.. but my mind was telling me not to, so I didn't." She says. Toriel gets up and walks over to me.
"Is your stomach feeling better, and do you feel better after taking a shower?" Toriel asks me, I nod.
"I won't be here tonight, since I have to do something. You will be ok here by yourself? I am sorry that I have to go and do this but it's required.. so I will leave you the rest of the pie so that you can eat it." She gets up and puts her book back on the shelf.
"Don't worry I will be alright!" I say, she walks to the steps and grabs her coat. She says bye to me. Wait.. that means I will be alone with Chara.. um!

[Chara's POV]
I and Nora stand by the steps to the basement, as my mother walks down them. She uses her fire magic to see, and then she disappears into the basement. I am alone with Tori, why does this feel... hehe.. nice? I glaze at Nora's  eyes.. her beautiful golden eyes.. I could stare at them forever and never look away!
"So what do you want to do now that my mom left?" I ask her. She thinks for a minute.
"I am not sure.. is there anything that we can do?" She looks at me, I smile... I know what we can do...
"I know what we can do~," I say... I grab her hand and hold it close to me. Then I pick her up and make sure that she doesn't fall out of my hands. I would hate for her to fall on the floor again. I open the bedroom door.
