"Good Evening, tito and tita."

Agad akong bumeso sa girlfriend ng dad ni Johnny at nag-mano sa daddy niya at kay tita. Across the table, I went to mama and papa and hugged them. Johnny did the same.

As we were done with greeting them, Johnny gestured me to sit beside him. I noticed that his father and my parents are smiling. I did smile at them too. Kaso itong katabi ko, dedma.

"I'm glad sabay kayo, anak." Johnny's father, tito David said in a happy tone. Malamang, pinasabay niyo kami!

Johnny smiled and replied, "Of course, dad. We're engaged. Right, love?" He held my hand and looked at me.

I blinked twice. Thrice. At so on, hindi ko na mabilang kung gano ko na na-blink mga mata ko. Mabilis na rin tibok ng puso ko. Shuta, nagpapakilig ba 'tong gagong 'to!? Sinasabi nito!?

I giggled, sartastically at hinampas yung braso ni Johnny. I leaned to his ear and whispered, "Snasabi mo diyan, Shrek? gusto mo ba sakalin kita?" Tumawa nanaman ako as I faced his parents.

"Oh, ang sweet sweet niyong dalawa! It's been two weeks but you guys seem close. Oh wow," Papa laughed and smiled at us.

Itong Shrek naman na 'to, is still holding my hand and carresed my thumb. Ngumiti ako sakaniya ng galit at ito ay ngumisi lamang.

As the food was served by their homecook, we immediately ate and discussed about our engagement.

"How's next month, iha?" Tito David asked as he finished eating his steak.

"P-po? next month? kasal? next month?!" I panicked. Gago. Next month agad? atat na atat ba 'to sila, ha!? 21 palang ako!

"Hon, that's too early pa. We haven't handed them the rings yet. Right, dear?" Tita Amy, tito David's girlfriend asked in reply as he held tito david's hand.

"I agree with Amy, David. it's too early. At least give them three months?" Mama asked in a worried tone. Kitang-kita ko sa mga mata niya nung nag-tama ang mga tingin namin, na she's really worried for us. Ginusto niya naman 'to. I gave her a 'i'm okay' look and looked at Johnny.

"3 months seems fine with me, tita, tito, and dad." Johnny nodded his head.

"I-uh, 3 months is too early but if that's what Johnny wants then it's fine with me." I looked at my hands and tried to stay calm. Okay, now I'm nervous! sobra! 3 months is not fine with me. Pero, pinapatak ko talaga sa isip ko ang sinabi ni papa na 'You always have to be ready'.

"Okay then! it's settled. Johnny, take Alexa to your room. The rings are there." Tito David said and Johnny stood up. Gago, bakit sa kwarto niya pa!?

Nagulat naman ako nang bigla niyang hinawakan kamay ko at sabay kaming lumakad papunta ng kwarto niya.

"Seriously, Johnny. Ano 'yon?" I asked in annoyance as we both arrived to his room. His room was modern. It had paintings, and a picture of his mom and him at the lamp table.

"Ano nanaman problema mo, ha?" He put both of his hands in his pockets at tinaas ang kilay niya.

Aba. He's acting clueless again! I can't even count on how i said na ang annoying niya! super!

"Baliw ka ba? Bakit mo'ko tinawag ng 'love'!?"

He smirked, walked to his closet and got the box with two rings in it. He went closer, grabbed my hand, and put the ring on my finger. My cheeks turned into a rosey one. Gusto 'kong sampalin mukha 'ko. Alexa, nababaliw ka na ba? Hindi ka pwedeng kiligin!

"Bakit? kinilig ka ba?" He raised his brows and smirked again. I laughed in a exaggerated tone and looked away. Hahahaha! sino ba 'to siya para kiligin ako? siya ba ang pinaka-most handsome, amazing, superhum-

"Oh, tingnan mo. Hindi makasagot. Alam 'kong kinilig ka, lex."

I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Who even are you para kiligin ako?" I looked at him from head to toe and crossed my arms. He was still laughing which made me embarrassed! Halata ba na kinilig ako kanina? No, shut it Alexa! hindi ka kinilig! Pumula lang naman pisngi ko eh!

"I am your fiancé. I guess that's normal? anyways, it seems like they fell for the thing we did there kanina." He said, smirking and stepped aside because he saw how uncomfortable I was when we were too close.

"Let's try to act inlove, Alexa. I know they're up just for the business. Once they get what they want, divorced na tayo agad."

Agad kong inalis ang kamay ko sa kamay niya. "Deal." It seems like not a bad plan, right? Gagawin ko lang 'to para mas madaling matapos ang lahat.

He put his ring on already and said, "Then we're okay. Let's just see each other if it's related to our engagement. Unless may date tayo.." He said in a teasing tone.

Sinapak ko ito ngunit tumawa lang siya at hinimas-himas ang kanyang braso. "Susuntukin talaga kita." I glared at him and pushed him away. Ganto ba talaga mga tiga-UP?  

When he was done putting on his ring, I thought na lalabas na kami but he closed the door again and locked it. My heart started beating faster!

"May sasabihin ako sa'yo."

I looked at him from head to toe. "What?" malditang 'kong sabi.

"If ever our marriage will be longer...let's not cross the line."

I nodded. "I know. It's gonna be harder for us."
