The early morning sun was just starting to break through the dewy London sky, a faint orange hue lingered against the grey buildings.

Despite how early it was, and that the sun was just starting to rise over the cold streets of London were filled with people. Either those who are about to begin their morning commute into the more center parts of London or those who were just eager to start their day.

Addy was not either of them.

She just wanted to feel something.

Addy's feet slammed against the pavement as she weaved around everything that took up space on the streets. The tip of her plaited hair swung with each step, her Richmond beanie kept the rest of her hair stuck in place.

Music softly played throughout her headphones, as she ran along the streets. The music was just loud enough to block out the general noise that filled the streets this early in the day. Blocking out the chaos on the street, but not loud enough to quieten the chaos inside.

She slowed down to a walk as the street light turned red, not allowing her to safely cross the road.

While standing there, she pulled out her phone from the pocket of her black three quarter zip, checking the time in order to make sure that she was continuing at the pace she'd set in order to get back to Roy's house in time.

She was on track to get back to Roy's and go through the rest of her morning routine which she'd abandoned for the sake of this run, as she'd decided to go out at the last possible second.

As the lights still hadn't allowed for her to cross safely, she changed the playlist before shoving her phone back into the pocket it came from, zipping it up before continuing on the last remaining leg of her run.

Her feet slammed against the street, she ignored the twang of pain that shot through her knee as she landed incorrectly.

The door to Roy's house slammed behind Addy as she stepped in, pushing her headphones down so they hung around her neck.

"Roy?" She called out, knowing that he was still somewhere in the house, as the car hadn't left the driveway yet, and she knew that Roy's knees wouldn't be able to cope with the walk to the club.

A grunt in response came from the kitchen, as Addy tried to balance herself on one foot as she pulled off her running shoes, not wanting to track dirty further into the house. She'd never hear the end of it from Roy, if she did. She placed her shoes onto the shoe rack by the front door.

Addy walked through the open planned house, trying her hardest to avoid Snowball who was making it his mission to try and trip his owner up as she'd feed him earlier than normal this morning. He didn't like the change in his routine.
