Eric's Perspective
Whoever put a coffee machine and several coffee cups in the common area has to be one of the most understanding people, like, ever. I'd had the hardest time sleeping last night, even with all my pillows, and when I eventually did go to sleep, it was that annoying and weird mix of being awake and sleeping. Which meant I was still tired when my alarm went off.
After haphazardly getting dressed I told Labib I was heading down to get something either sugary or filled with caffeine to drink. When I saw the coffee machine, I was set on the caffeine.
I explained this all to Tori and Mikaela in our homeroom a little later, still sipping on the latte and ignoring the stares I was probably getting. I mean, in all honesty, I would be staring at me too.
"I know you're tired and all but are you sure you should be drinking that in class?" Mikaela asked me, anxiously looking back and forth at me and the door, probably waiting for our teacher to walk in, see me, and tell me to throw it out.
"What, is it suddenly illegal to drink coffee now?" I replied as I took another sip and shrugged, "And also, you're talking to someone with a literal superspeed quirk. I can run down to the common area and toss this in less than thirty seconds flat."
Mikaela huffed at me, "Well Mr. Thirty Seconds Flat, last time I checked, teachers don't react all that nicely to kids drinking, eating, or sleeping in their classes." She said, crossing her arms in front of her.
Tori cut in before I could say anything. Which let me take another sip of my coffee, so I was fine with it. "A-Actually, s-some teachers at m-my old high sc-school did."
"You forget that I'm fourteen and took the entrance exam at thirteen." Mikaela reminded her, leaning back in her seat, "I've never stepped foot into an actual high school - let alone attended one."
"You're only fourteen?" I set the now almost empty cup on my desk, "Damn, that explains so much but so little at the same time."
"I-I get wh-what you m-mean, Eric." Tori spoke up again, looking up from her phone again. "Wh-when we met I-I almost th-thought sh-she was twelve."
That sounds about right, Mikaela acts like a twelve year-old girl trying coffee for the first time. I would've guessed that's the case if I didn't just hear that she's fourteen.
"What? Why?" Mikaela looked confused, so I let Tori continue.
"You hav-ve so mu-much energy, just lik-ke a little k-kid. Wh-when I was th-thirteen I had way less," She went on, giggling lightly at the end of her sentence.
"And when I was thirteen I had none."
Tori looked back at me, "Th-that was a-a lie. You al-always have ener-ergy, I can t-tell."
"Sure is, but let me go toss this into the sink real quick. Be back in less than thirty seconds." I gently elbowed Mikaela's shoulder as I picked up the cup and got out my seat. She jokingly (and gently, don't worry) kicked me in reply.
"I'll be counting on it, but also tell your little roomie that I said he needs to get down here if he doesn't actually want to kicked outta this place." Mikaela narrowed her eyes mentioning Labib, and I saw how overly sarcastic her smirk was. It was obvious that she couldn't give less of a damn if he got expelled or not. (Maybe I'd get why if she told me the entrance exam story without yelling at Labib.) But I chose to ignore it.
"Will do, but make that in less than a minute, okay?"
"Yeah, yeah."

Third Person
"Welcome, first-years, to class 1-A4!"
The cheerful, energetic voice came out of seemingly nowhere. The conversations in the room halted as all heads turned to face the owner, who they correctly guessed was none other than their homeroom teacher.
"I see you all look a little bit confused. Only natural," The woman stopped and cleared her throat, "anyhow, I am your homeroom teacher, Julie Montoya. But you may remember me as the headteacher who helped Alex Wex give the welcome speech on moving day. Or as I'm most used to: Puppeteer."
The Puppet Hero: Puppeteer. The hero was well known as one of the the most physically able in the direct confrontation community. Which made perfect sense, considering that her quirk, Human Puppet, granted her the power to take control of her target's body and quirk. Basic thoughts in some cases. She was one of Eric's personal favorite heroes.
'I had no idea she was a teacher here! But I guess that explains why she's been a lot less active now.' He thought, unable to stop the small grin on his face. 'I can't believe she's gonna be my teacher!'
A hand raised behind Eric's head, Julie gestured to them and the owner spoke up, asking if there'd be other pro heroes teaching at RSA.
"Of course! Most teachers here will be, but they would insist on introducing themselves instead of having me do it, so you'll meet them later. I'd like to start today off by introducing myself and the school. My way of doing this is by answering any questions that weren't explained during the speech or anywhere in the acceptance or information letters. Seeing that this period is only twenty minutes, I'll do this as fast as I can. So, any questions?"
The student sitting across of Tori raised their hand: "The letter said there'd be a quirk assessment during the second day of classes, but what exactly is that?"
"A quirk assessment is something that happens at every quirk-training school. It's the day teachers ask students to demonstrate their quirks, usually in a sort of one-on-one battle trial, but I've seen a few different ways."
That same student continued, "Where exactly are quirk assessments held?"
"It depends on which teacher you have, and when you have them. For example, my morning group's will be in the school's training building."
Mikaela's eyes widened, and she couldn't help but repeat Ms. Montoya's words in surprise, emphasizing the word building.
The teacher nodded, then picked up a piece of chalk and began drawing on the blackboard behind her. "RSA's offical campus is made up of three buildings. The one we're currently in is the biggest, since the classrooms, dorms, courtyards, common area, and a few other rooms are all in here. To the right of this building is the cafeteria building, and on the left is the training slash gym building. You'll get used to it as the year passes, trust me." She explained as she quickly finished her drawing of the three buildings.
Next hand to be called on belonged to Eric. "I think I saw these mentioned in the letters somewhere, but what's a core class?"
"Your core class is a specialized two hour class that teaches how to deal with everything a professional hero goes through outside of battle. Namely haters, interviews, reporters, fans, and autographs. It's one of the most important classes at RSA, which is why only certain people are allowed to teach them. I'm a headteacher here and I can't even teach one. Now, anything else?"
The period continued in a similar manner until the bell rang, signaling the beginning of the ten-minute break between homeroom and first period. Julie bid her students goodbye as they picked up their belongings and walked out, most heading to their lockers, but all to their first day of hero classes.
