❤︎ ZOHA'S POV ❤︎

2 more minutes, only 120 seconds until Dimitri leaves to go to work. Only two more minutes until my escape plan comes into action.

I listened closely to hear the front door slam shut, I watched outside my window to make sure he was actually gone.

The plan was to break the window and jump out and maybe accidentally die on the way. I grabbed a thick blanket and placed it over the window, I took hold of  the nearest heavy thing to me and aimed my weapon at the window. Don't mess this up Zoha. My heart started racing thinking about all of the different possibilities that could happen. I closed my eyes and wacked the object on the window making the glass quietly shatter into millions of pieces. I stuck my head out the window and gulped whilst looking down. How was I meant to jump that far down? I paralysed myself from overthinking. My tense body climbed out of the window and balanced on the window sill, not looking down even once.

I jumped down onto the next window sill, my heart rate jolted when I slightly lost my balance. Eventually after a couple of minutes of careful steps, my feet made contact with the ground. I wiped my sweaty forehead and looked around. There was nothing, not a single other person around the house. I peeked my head around the corner, I kept my head low and crept to the spare car hoping I wouldn't get caught.

I threw a massive rock at the other end to where I was going. I didn't think it was actually going to work but all of the guards instantly raised there guns and made their way over to the rock. I quickly ran as fast as I could not looking back for a second. I followed the road not knowing where it would lead me to.

I caught a glimpse of a house and as i walked further down I saw multiple houses and shops. I put my hood up so that a certain someone wouldn't recognise me if he saw me. I asked someone where the police station was and they directed me to it. I walked in and rushed over to the counter.

There person on the counter was on the phone "uh t-" I started my sentence but was stopped by the policewoman on the phone raising her hand.

"But it's urgent" I pleaded. She gave me an annoyed look and I mirrored her expression.

"What" the woman said in a thick Russian accent.

"I was kidnapped and I escaped. There's this guy called Dimitri he's the mafia boss of the black dragon" I didn't know what else to say so I waited for her to answer.

My eyebrows furrowed when her expression changed from annoyed to humourous. She was laughing...what the.... My mouth hung low in shock, not being able to believe the sight in front of me.

"Unfortunately we can't help. The blak drakon don't cause us any problems so we aren't going to cause them any" she spoke.

"What do you mean you can't help! I was kidnapped, it's your job to help" I spat. I felt my face burning up in anger.

"Well why don't you just go back to the blak drakon because this isn't our problem" she waved me off as if to mock me. I was speechless. Not a single word spewed out my mouth, I angrily walked out of the station. Well that was a waste of time.

Most of the stores were closed since it was the afternoon. I aimlessly walked around in the cold weather. I sat down on the nearest bench. What was I going to do now? Where was I going to stay? Thousands of questions filled my mind and I couldn't answer any of them.

"Zdravstvuy milyy (hello darling)" I looked up at the man that had interrupted my thoughts.

"I can't understand Russian....sorry" I turned my head away from the man and stared ahead.
