[time-skip to the classroom]

"This is our new student, class. Please introduce yourself."

I swallowed the lump in your throat in preparation for what will be one of the most awkward times in my life.

"....Hello, everyone. I'm Y/n.... L/n."

My voice had cracked little, and I had to look straight at the ground. The teacher pointed to a seat in between two girls that stood out from the others. I looked around, the girls looked pretty tan, unlike the other students, who were all pale and stiff. One had short golden blonde hair and the other had straight black hair. It almost seemed like the other students were like robots. Of course, I could tell the students fairly apart, with their faces and hair length and all, but those two girls seemed to be the only color in the room.

The last teacher left for their own work.

After a few minutes, my supplies were organized in your desk. And now the class waited for another teacher....

Waiting...

Waiting....

Waiting.....

20 minutes have passed......

The classroom door opened loudly as a teacher came rushing in, her hair in a messed-up bun. Her clothes were wrinkled. She looked very tired.

"I'm so sorry being so late, everyone, I was just-"

[thud]

[rustle]

A folder stuffed with a what seemed like a million papers was dropped on the floor. The papers scattered across the floor. A lot of them were graded papers. A messy pile of papers with bad grades on it fell at my feet. In the middle of the papers, though, was a paper with an impressive grade on it. The name at the top of it was titled "Nagatoro."

"Really sorry, class....."

What's with her....?

It took a while for her to pick all her papers up. I heard a few kids whispering to each other, presumably about the teacher.

"[sigh] So, today's lesson will be...."

[timeskip]

This teacher was pretty scatterbrained. She just wrote what to do, gave a few examples to use for work, and then sat in chair, dozing off.

Lunchtime should come soon...

And it did. Surprisingly, all the food in it was all in place. I sure am lucky today.

I saw the two girls that I sat between sitting together at two (and the only two) spare desks. They were talking to each other so happily and enthusiastically....

Wow, I kinda wish I could be like that.....
I wonder how they do it. Were they born with extroverted abilities? Or maybe they're just being that way because they're good friends. I wonder how I could be like that. Maybe I should start talking to inanimate objects first, and then-

"Hey Y/n! Want to join us?"
