"Okay, so can you believe Miles just attacked us at Wheel Well because he was scared that everyone felt like he was a criminal because of Cars 2," Sally said.
"It's just too much to take in, Sal," Lightning agreed. "Cruz really damaged the guy's personality. He could've been successful. All he has his $ from Cars 2."
"But the thing was the bombs, explosions, Allinol being dangerous was all a get-up for the movie that Cad secretly filmed," Sally said.
Lightning's eyes widened, "Yeah Cad even said... he used to watch me all the time on TV."
"I hate him more than anyone, tbh," Sally sighed.
"Same," Lightning's eyes watered. "Why are you crying?" Sally asked him.
"The amount of distress, being a famous race car and now having two films debuted about me makes me sick," he hesitated.
Sally nodded, "You never felt, happy?" She slowly leaned into him for a kiss.
"Honestly, this is why I love you Sally," he kissed her back.
"Well, anyways, it's all over," Sally smiled.
Back at Willie's Bute..
Cad was being punished by driving away all the tractors away from the main road under Mater's supervision.
"She honestly deserves a better punishment," Francesco Bernouli said, pulling over to Mater.
"Oh hey, Mr. San Francisco! I'd like you to meet, Cruz Ramirez, the biggest fraud of the century!" Mater enthused."Uhh, what?" Francesco replied.
"Yes, she reported to everyone that Miles was bad, but was making a silly movie! So she basically lied to the whole world over a year!" Mater said.
"Erm... yes, I saw the news," Francesco shivered, looking at Cad.
"Ah, tow truck amigo, I need to go to get filled up," he drove away panicking.
"Ah, Lightning McQueen, buona sera!" he tire-bumped him.
"Uhhh, h-hey Francesco," Lightning replied, sheepishly.
"It has been a long night, hasn't it?" he asked him.
"More like a long week," Lightning moaned, slamming himself against the table, causing his drink to spill.
"I'll get wipes," Flo saw this.
"No, it's okay, I will," Sally fought her. "No, I will!" Flo insisted. "Sit here and chat with our folks."
"Signorina Sally, how is life here?" he asked politely.
"Oh, it's great," Sally smiled. Sally noticed Lightning felt awkward. "Umm, I have some paperwork to do, guys. You two, have fun! I'll catch you later!" she drove away laughing to herself.
Lightning picked on his food. "You aren't hungry?" Francesco asked him. "Ehh, not really, here take my food."
Francesco gobbled down the spaghetti and wiped his mouth. "Famous race car, famous movie star," he said.
"I'm sorry?" Lightning asked him. "Both of us have been known across the whole world. It feels tiring-" he sighed. "Yeah, I agree," Lightning McQueen concurred. "With everything going on, I just lost my appetite." "Why?" Francesco asked.
"I don't know, I can't believe Cruz stalked me and filmed me, she could've just asked me! Like what an invasion of privacy," he complained.
"Ah, I understand you very well. You see consent is something that should be-" Francesco said.
"Present," Lightning finished his sentence, and choked on his juice.
Francesco patted him, as Lightning instantly felt better. "Let us have a toast."
"Let's," Lightning said without sarcasm, pretty content with the Italian race car's company.
"RADIATOR SPRINGS, A HAPPY PLACE!" Cad yelled scornfully, digging up the dirt in each of the shops.
