━━ "CALL IT, CAPTAIN." Tony looked to Steve, who contemplated his response.

"Alright, listen up." The blonde looked to his team. "Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Big Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash.

"Wanna give me a lift?" Clint looked to Tony with a smirk.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." The billionaire commented before grabbing Clint and flying off. He dropped the archer on top of a building before zooming through the sky.

"Little Stark, you're on damage control like earlier. When the debris and bodies fall, you slash and burn. Got it?" Steve ordered, Delaney nodding. "Don't appreciate the nicknames, but yes, I do." The woman flew off in her suit. "Jesus, JARVIS, is it always so hot in here?"

A small fan began to blow cool air onto her face.

"Thanks." She told the AI before grabbing the body of a falling Chitauri. She hurled it into the direction of the Hudson River, and after a couple of seconds, she heard the body crash into the water with a loud splash.

"JARVIS, that counts as a touchdown, right?" Delaney asked the system before sending out heated lasers at large pieces of rock that fell from the sky.

"I'm afraid not, Delaney."

"Boo, you're boring." She scoffed, before looking to Clint. He had been reporting to Tony that there had been a lot of stray Chitauri following him through their earpieces.

Delaney briefly abandoned her station and followed Tony and the aliens. Soaring through the skies, her red, heated lasers tore through the Chitauri' bodies as if she were ripping paper.

"The strays are gone. You're welcome." Delaney sassed before flying to the world below her, blasting through Chitauri and their hovercrafts. "I could've handled that." Tony's voice came into the helmet.

"But you didn't." Delaney shot back before firing small missiles into the backs of multiple Chitauri. "I win."

"You're the worst."

"Am I really?" Delaney teased before catching the body of a Chitauri. She let the deceased creature tumble out of her arms before sending missiles after it, the body exploding.
