Anna Sampson lived in the highlands, surrounded by hills and mountains, she lived in a old wooden hut, on the outskirts of a small village, and she was a healer. A very well known healer, people would travel miles to see her, she used the powers of the land to heal people, some people would call her a witch. Anna was a very well presented woman, she had strong facial features, silky black hair, was about 5"foot 5"inches and slim, however the one feature which always stood out to people was her soulless black eyes.
It was 1557, the amount of people that was coming to see Anna to be healed or for treatment was taking a strain on her, she was become tired and weak and illness was starting to take hold. However, Anna was a kind and caring soul and couldn't refuse her help to anyone. That is when she come up with the idea of creating stones from precious gems which she could use to get energy from, a bit like batteries, rather than making and preparing potions and remedies from scratch for every patient. She would use the gems by selecting the correct gem and placing in one hand, while the other hand was on the patient, transfer the energy from the stone to the patient.
Anna already had hundreds of gems from years of trade and payment which she could use. She would call these the "Rainbow Stones".
Anna looked through her gems, when she come across the most beautiful bright red ruby. Anna though to herself for a while, before she decided to execute this plan, and turn the beautiful ruby which was about 3"inches long into the Stone of Life. Anna added all the ingredients into a pot and allowed the ruby to soak in the liquid, it began glowing, she left it in there for a week. By this point the liquid had disappeared and the ruby was brighter than ever, Anna held the ruby up to the sun and it was beaming in the sunlight. The first of the Rainbow Stones was completed.
The Stone of Life was created to allow Anna to gift life to desperate couples, that desperately wanted children but was unable to. However, this stone could also take life as well as give, Anna knew from the moment the idea popped into her head that her stones could be used for good but also in the wrong hands for evil as well. That was magic in general, there was light magic, but for every bit of light magic there was also dark magic. Although the stone could give and take life, it could also make people immortal.
After creating the first stone, Anna knew if word got out, she would be at risk from people who wanted the stones for their own gain, that is why she locked them away and protected their home with spells, charms and curses.
A few weeks past, Anna had found the Stone of Life really helpful, and was able to help a lot of families a lot quicker. Anna decided she was going to make the rest of the stones, she would take a few weeks off, not see or take on any new patients and she would put all her focus into making the stones.
Anna come across a orange Spessartite in her gem box, this Spessartite would become the home for her healing charm. She mirrored the process she used to make the Stone of Life and a week later she had her second stone. The orange Spessartite turned into the Stone of Healing.
The stone of Healing was created to heal all illness and injuries, but like the first stone, the Stone of Life, although this could heal patients incredibly fast, in the wrong hands it could also delay healing and make the healing process longer and more painful as a form of torture. She locked this in the cabinet with the Stone of Life.
Anna then moved on to her third stone, the Stone of Light, which she used a yellow citrine gem. This stone was created to give her light, to allow her to work longer hours even after nightfall, but to also transfer "light", positivity, into her patients when they was feeling depressed. This was her first multi-purpose stone she had made. It has both physical and mental benefits, depending how it was used. The darker side of the stone could take both physical light and throw the world into darkness or transfer darkness and depression into a person, depending on how it was used. For these reasons, Anna locked the third stone in the cabinet with the other two.
Anna then moved onto her fourth stone, she picked out a green emerald, this green emerald would turn into the Stone of Nature. The stone of Nature was used to help nature thrive, help plants and crops grow. The dark side of this stone, was although it could give a successful harvest and help Nature thrive, it could also destroy nature, like the others this was locked away. Although the next day there was a strong earthquake, a earthquake in the highlands was unheard off, but no one thought much off it and just put it down to a one off, including Anna. Anna should have know better, magic gives out warnings when it is unhappy. This earthquake wasn't natural, it was a warning.
Anna missed the warning and started her fifth stone, an electric blue sapphire, this sapphire would turn into the Stone of Harmony. It was created to allow patients to relax and give them peace and harmony. The dark side was stress, panic, war, destruction and disharmony. When Anna locked this stone away there was another earthquake, stronger and more dangerous than the last one. People started talking and getting paranoid.
Anna picked up on the warning this time and thought it was too unusual, so she put her stones to one side and went back to her traditional methods.
A few months later, after things had settled down, Anna thought that the earthquake must have just been coincidental. After all, if her stones had caused the earthquake then surely they would have continued as she hadn't separated them, so they would surely cause more. Anna decided she was going to make a sixth stone.
The sixth stone was made from Amethyst and was a beautiful purple colour, this was created to give people spirit, this was the Stone of Spirit, like all the others it could give people spirit but could also take it away. However unlike the others, she didn't lock this one away and kept it on her bedside cabinet, next to her bed.
As soon as she made the sixth stone, she began working on the seventh, this was going to be her final stone. The final stone was the Stone of Sex made from Rose Quartz. This stone was created to improve a patients sex drive or help men with erectile disfunction. Again like all the other six stones, if placed in the wrong hands it could destroy all a patients sex drive.
Anna got the Stone of Spirit and Stone of Sex and placed them in the cupboard with the other five stones, but the minute she placed all seven stones together the ground began to shake violently. She tried to separate them but got knocked off her feet before she could reach them. The ground shook so violently that it caused a landslide from the near by hills and mountains, it was such a powerful landslide that it didn't just bury Anna and her home, but buried multiple towns and villages, and all the people she worked so hard to protect. When the landslide hit Anna's house it smashed open the cupboard and separated the seven stones, burying them, by the landslide separating the stones it stop the effects of the stones and stopped any more devastation.
However, Anna, her house, her town, the people she cared about where all buried. Include the Seven Rainbow stones, the Stone of Life, the Stone of Healing, the Stone of Light, the Stone of Nature, the Stone of Harmony, the Stone of Spirit and the Stone of Sex, all lost and buried under the landslide which they created.
