I came here to save people not to just sit around all day in the scorching sun doing nothing. It had been two months since I was deployed
Take cover, mortar. I hear my commanding officer yell as explosions are happening all around us.
Quickly ducking out of my cover I take some shots. Then look up as a mortar is falling right on us.
It all happened so fast yet so slowly. As I lay unconscious everyone in my squad is burning alive or died instantly in the explosion.
When I open my eyes everyone is dead. Chard bodies scatter the ground, then suddenly I feel a massive pain in my chest and look down only to see a piece of metal sticking out of my chest.
