Adam had his life together again. After the whole adventure, he finally had gotten used to all the new things. Control over his other life and quite frankly, he liked it. It wasn't much of a hassle when you can control it. Turning at will was a privilege.

Adam had decided to come visit his two younger brothers for a while. He finally got his PhD and he now had all the time in the world.

The sun was already starting to set, and Adam had just gotten out of his taxi. Two suitcases followed closely behind him and with agile step, he walked towards the main door of the apartment block. He reminisced about the building. Living there together since day 1 of leaving their home. Watching kids cartoons and playing pretend...

He looked up, glaring at the height of the building. Breathing in the cold but fresh wind, he looked forward and took the route to meeting up with his family.

Ryan was sitting down in bed. Jack was sitting on the floor. Ryan was working on something on the computer. Jack was playing with Shay. The dog was anxious to go outside but her owner wanted to wait to greet his brother. Then they'll go out. "Is he getting closer?" Jack asked turning his head around to meet Ryan's face. "He must be arriving soon." Ryan responded not looking away from the screen. His glasses reflected the music program he was working with. Jack turned his face again, looking down at Shay stroking her fur. He looked up through the window. The sun was about to set. He'll have to walk Shay at dark. But he didn't mind. He had done that before.

A buzz echoed around the apartment. Both brothers stood up in a flash, their eyes flashing with content. Shay started to bark and walk around, eager to see his friend again. Ryan left his computer to a side and slightly sprinted towards the main door of their home. Jack followed closely behind.
There he was. The last of the brothers. He left his suitcases down and opened his arms wide open to let both of his younger siblings fit in the warm hug. They all chuckled with happiness as they were reunited again. "Come in!" Ryan gestured. "We'll get told off because of the noise". Jack grabbed one of Adam's suitcases, letting out some air complaining of it's weight. "Did you pack the whole house?" He asked sarcastically. Adam chuckled. "Probably!" Adam said between laughs. The door closed behind them.

The brothers had a nice conversation. The typical things. 'How was your journey?', 'How much time are you staying with us?', etc. "How's the fishy doing?" Jack asked. The brothers had now gotten used to their brother's situation. They found it really interesting to say the least. Adam finished drinking his glass before speaking. "It's doing very well to be honest!" He said patting his thigh. "Keeping it well hidden is a bit of a hassle sometimes as in some way, I need a bath every other day if you you what I mean". The two youngsters nodded, eager to know more. "But apart from that, it's been fine." Adam ended, drinking again from his water cup.
Just as Adam finished his story, Jack felt a slight tug of something on his shirt. He looked down meeting with some playful brown eyes. "Oh true!" He announced. Adam and Ryan looked at him. "I have to walk Shay". Ryan looked away. The moon was out already. "You sure? It's dark" he warned. Adam nodded. Jack walked away, grabed his jacket and leash for Shay. He walked back to the table where his two brothers sat. "It's perfectly fine" he said while putting the leash on her dog. "I'll be back just before you know it" he promised. With that said, the man and dog left the apartment building. Shay nearly walking Jack instead of Jack walking Shay.

For the rest of the afternoon, Ryan helped Adam unpack and accommodated him in his temporary room. They both smiled. It was nice to see each other again.
