Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell was 15 when she left Post War World III Planet Earth in October of 2270 with 499 other war orphans from San Francisco, California on the USS Republic.
Once all the passengers were settled in their quarters. The USS Republic set off for Talos IV, Star Base 10 and finally Star Base 12.
Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell along with the rest of the war orphans left behind after World War III talked about the loss of their families and loved ones.
Karissa Elizabeth Ann decided to take solace in the garden on board the USS Republic where it was peaceful and quiet until one day a young officer showed up in the garden but he didn't see Karissa Elizabeth Ann sitting in the garden and he turned around and he said " Excuse me Miss. I didn't see you sitting there."
Karissa looks up and she says " I come here everyday to escape from the other passengers.'
"May I join you." The young officer asks her and Karissa answers " Yes of course." and the young officer tells her his name it is Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley.
Lt Kevin Thomas Riley shares with Karissa about losing his family to Kudos the governor of Talos IV and he tells her that the provincial government executed all non-essential people on Talos IV as they were experiencing a famine.
Karissa shares with Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley that she lost family to radiation poisoning on Post World War Three Planet Earth, but she escaped.
Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell have a lot in common as both lost their families and both were casualties of war.
Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Karissa Elizabeth Ann spend all their time in the garden on board the USS Republic.
Finally on May 1, 2274, The USS Republic orbits around Star Base 12 and it is Lt.Kevin Thomas Riley that escorts Karissa on his arm and he walks over to Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Duke of Norfolk Territory and Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory and he says to them " May I introduce Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell. She comes from Post World War Three Earth."
Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell knows something about protocol and she gives a sweeping curtsy and it is Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Duke of Norfolk Territory who helps Karissa to her feet and next to him are his two of his three sons, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Andrew Charles Howard.
Lord Andrew Charles Howard nudges his father and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR says " May I introduce two of my sons to you. This is my oldest son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and my youngest son, Lord Andrew Charles Howard."
Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell looks at Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and Lord Andrew Charles Howard and she says to them " It's nice to meet you both."
Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley informs Lord Richard William Carey that Karissa is going to live out in his territory and he considers it safer than Norfolk Territory.
"Lord Richard William. Will you please see Karissa safely to Madame's Boarding House?" Kevin asks his good friend.
"It will be my pleasure." Lord Richard William Carey tells Kevin.Kevin and Lord Richard William Carey walk Karissa over to the Carey carriage and help her climb into the carriage and Kevin watches it drive away before he heads back for Star-Fleet Academy.
On the way to Madame's Boarding House, Lord Richard William Carey tries to start up a conversation but Karissa is tired from the long five year journey and she just wants to get settled in her new home.
Madame Claudette Valois is a direct descendant of Prince Charles, Duke of Valois who was one of the sons of King Philip IV of France and her husband, Monsieur Claude Valois is also a direct descendant of Prince Charles,, Duke of Valois.
