Parker's POV
I woke up to beams of light shining through the tree tops and the chirps of island birds. Toni was sprawled out next to me with an arm slung over my chest and drool coating her bottom lip. I giggled at this. Toni stirred at the laugh I made.
I blew on her face to gently wake her up. Her eyes squinted open and she let out a yawn. "P?" She croaked. God I will never get over her morning voice.
I nodded my head with a smile, "Morning" I muttered.
Toni just stared into my eyes with a smile as I did to her. We basked in this morning glory, taking in one of the few moments where we could forget the terror of our predicament.
"Agh we have to get up before they send out a search party, don't we?" Toni grumbled after a while.
I nodded my head solemnly.
"Let's get to it then. Ooh we need to bring the lychees too."

I stared at the cement ceiling and dreamt of seeing my friends and sister again. My heart ached for Toni.... the last time we saw each other was a disaster. I need to say sorry.

Toni and I approached camp and the smell of cooked meat filled my nose. We shared a look of surprise. Surely they hadn't resulted to cannibalism this quickly, right?
"Looks like we've been upstaged" Toni announced our presence as we rounded the corner. A piece of meat was hung up over the fire. Could it be the goat from before?
"Hey! Where were you guys?" Dot asked.
I dropped the lychees out of my shirt which I was using to carry them.
"Oh...I think I know" Fatin laughed as I attempted to cover the large hickey on my collar bone.
Toni just smirked. "Marty, is that the goat?"
My eyes widened as I took in Martha's bloody appearance. Toni went to go sit with her so I plopped down next to Leah and rested my head on her shoulder. My head still hurt from falling the day before but it wasn't as bad as last time.
Shelby was hacking away at the rest of the goat with Dot, gutting it. I looked away in disgust.
"Hey Martha, how'd it feel?" Rachel prodded.
"How'd what feel?" She obviously seemed uncomfortable.
"You know...taking down that goat." Rachel got up and sat next to the girl. "Well, come on. It's been a minute since I had a W like that. Give me the details. Let me live vicariously."
"I don't know, Rachel....I'm not too sure you get it." Toni grabbed Martha's hand and I shot both of them a reassuring smile.

Toni's POV
"I don't think you get it, I need to see her. She needs to know I forgive her. Please!"
The man in his stupid suit shut my door.
"AAAAH!" I screamed and pounded my fist against it.

Parker's POV
Eventually the goat was cooked and we all ate off of large leaves.
"Be right back" Leah looked into my eyes with a concerning amount of intensity.
I nodded suspiciously as she got up.
