Conard's bedroom door swung open and you stood in the doorway. Conard turned his head lightly to look at you, blinked, and turned his head back to face the ceiling. He had cold wet towels, bottles of medicine, and 2 people around him. You walked over to him and pulled over a chair, placing your hand on his forehead. You quickly pulled away, feeling your hand nearly burn from the heat rushing off of Conard.

"He won't speak with anyone," Otis said quietly. "All he's done is make small noises to symbolize what he wants or needs."

You nodded slightly. Wisp suddenly appeared behind you.

"Y/N, I know it's a terrible, terrible time to tell you this but, Levi is at the castle doors."

"Of course Levi is. That man can't listen for the death of him." You said, smiling and shaking your head.

"How do you think he feels about you?"

"Oh, shut up Otis."

Standing, you leaned down and kissed Conard's forehead. You closed your eyes, and when they opened you stood next to a horse, on the outside of the castle. Levi stood pounding the castle doors with rage flooding his mind. As he went to punch the door, you calmly grabbed his fist, holding his hand in yours.

"Levi..." You whispered. "I told you to stay. I don't want you to get sick too.."

Levi slowly turned to face you. You went to speak again but before you could you felt Levi's lips pressed to yours. He cupped his hand on your cheek and you grabbed the top of his shirt. After what felt like a million years, you pulled away. Taking a heavy breath, you looked at him and smiled.

"Calm now?"

He lowered his head to hide the red on his face and nodded lightly.

After he finally calmed down, you were able to get him to agree to go back. Once he left and was out of sight, you went back to Conard. He looked more ill than before. Standing silently, you got an idea. It was stupid and risky and something Levi would never let you do. It was perfect.

"Y/N," Wisp said. "What are you planning? I know your 'this idea is stupid but I'm totally doing it anyways' looks, and that look is clear as day."

"You'll see." You said. "Now, everybody out. I want to be alone with Conard for a moment."

As the room became just you and Conard. You stood over him. He was pale everywhere besides his flaming cheeks and forehead.

You put your hands on his chest and mumbled some words. After a few long minutes, your hand began to glow a light blue, and you quickly placed your hand to your chest.

Conard's skin went back to it's normal color, and he wasn't burning hot anymore. You had removed the sickness from him, and put it into yourself. You made your way to your room to rest, knowing you could easily beat this if you rested.

After what felt like years, you woke to the sound of Otis' voice. You rubbed your eyes and weakly smiled at him.

"I know what you did, Y/N," He said. "I should yell at you, but I'll leave that to Levi. He's waiting in the Courtyard. The guards couldn't keep him out."

"Looks like I need to look into getting better guards," You said, standing up.

As you walked down the hallway, you stopped. Something felt wrong. Then you felt the light feeling of being kicked in your stomach...
