Finally Home(Levi x Listener)

Chapter 7

Touching your stomach with one hand, you covered your mouth with the other. Could this have really happened? whatever you had just felt, you needed to set aside for a little while, because Levi didn't need the stress. You continued to walk to the courtyard, trying to forget what happened the last time you and Levi were there, on your wedding day.  You walked into the courtyard to see Levi sitting on a bench, looking out at the sunset. Walking slowly towards him, he turned his head slightly to give you a small smile then turned back.

Slowly, you sat down and placed your head on his shoulder.

"Your a dumbass, Y/N" You looked up at him in shock. "Otis told me what you did. You could have gotten extremely sick and-"

"But I didn't" You protested and couldn't keep it in any longer. "We're sitting right here with you."

"We're?" Levi stared at you in pure confusion which made you smile. "Y/N, what did you mean by We're?"

You looked up at him and smiled a light but happy smile. The sun's final light made your skin glisten in the misty air around you.  You felt light joy filled tears drop from your eyes. Levi's hand met yours and he looked at you still in complete shock.

"Y/N, your serious? This isn't some stupid joke?"

"I'm more serious than I've ever been about anything besides how I feel about you,"

Levi held your head to his chest, letting you feel the tears that were almost non-existent fall onto your head. You slowly fell asleep, only waking for a few seconds as Levi moved so he could lay you on his legs.

"Y/N? Y/N, wake up. Your gonna be late to the corps if you keep sleeping," Wisp kneeled down in front of you, his hand on your shoulder to sit you up right.

Rubbing your eyes, you sat up. Levi was gone. You guessed he had left before dawn because he wasn't allowed to be at the castle until you returned to the corps or said otherwise.

You nodded to Wisp and then teleported to your closet. Rummaging around in Your side of the huge closet, you slipped on your pants and your boots and stopped once you got to putting on your jacket and cape. Looking over at the spare jacket Levi had, you took his instead to piss him off. You grabbed the black cape he gave you as you ran out the door to your horse. 

Holding the reins to keep yourself stable with one hand, you messed around with your hair to put it in a low ponytail, so it wasn't a problem while you trained the newest cadets with Marlo. You slowed as you came to the stables and saw Reiner leaning casually on the side.

"Cadet Braun!" You yelled at him in a stern voice. "Are you slacking off?"

He jumped and turned to you. He finally caught his breathe after your scare. He walked up to you and smiled in a rude way then he raised his hand and slapped the side of your horse, making him go crazy.

"Hey! Reiner Braun! Your dead meat!" You screamed as you tried to hang onto your horse's reins.

Reiner laughed as you flew back into a stable, hitting your head. Your horse started to run off and you sighed.

"Trigger, come back! Trigger!" Your horse kept running the other way. "Reiner, you could've hurt me! What if I fell on my stomach you would've hurt both of us!"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Reiner asked.

You stood up and quickly wandered off into the building.

As you found your way to Ewrin's office, you heard Reiner yell your name.

"Y/N!" He called out of breathe. "Are you..-"

You covered his mouth and nodded.

"Shut up, will ya?" You whisper-shouted at him. "I don't want the scouts to know, okay? It's only you, Otis, and Levi so shut your damn mouth or I'll kick your ass."
