Angel's Perspective

Silence

That's all that lingered in the atmosphere as Xander, myself and both of our families stood in his office as he sat in his chair with a deadly expression on his face. No one dared to utter a word because we could all see what was happening to Xander right now. He was having an internal battle with Aries so no one dared to get in between them. I personally wasn't getting involved because they need to resolve this themselves. I can't always be the one to calm them down everytime their rage gets out of control. They need to learn to calm themselves down for once.

It took a while but eventually they surprisingly were able to get themselves under control. Xander took a deep breath before sighing. "I'm sure you all know why you're here. The treaty between the siren and the wolf kingdom has been broken." Gasps escaped from all of us at the shocking revelation. I read about the treaties between the wolf kingdom and the other supernatural kingdoms and each treaty was made for a specific purpose. Unity. Xander's great great great grandfather was one of the best kings to ever lead the wolf race and he came up with the idea of uniting all the other supernatural kingdoms together in hopes of finding peace amongst each other. The treaty worked a great deal over the many passing years and now the sirens broke their treaty.

That means that they can call a war upon us which is exactly what they did. They started the war by killing several of our members and littered their dead bodies all over the pack lands and now Xander has had enough. We tried reasoning with the sirens because if we decided to go through with the war then the sirens would be wiped out in no time. We wanted to give them the chance at peace but they pushed Xander beyond his limits. So the war is set and its coming fast.

This is so stressful for us because Xander and I have to go back to school tomorrow and I have my moon goddess training. To top it all off I still have to be reintroduced to the people of Astoria which I was extremely nervous about. Then I still have my coronation to go through in a few months. This was stress at its finest and it was a total bitch.

"I tried reasoning with them but not anymore. They made their decision so now I'm making mine. I didn't want it to come to this but it has to done. The war is set. As of today I want every wolf of warrior age to train for the war." Xander raged. We all nodded before exiting the office and going our separate ways. I pulled Xander towards our bedroom before locking the door and glared at him.

"What the hell is wrong with you! How can you send those innocent children to fight in a war with the sirens? Have you lost your mind? Majority of them are teenagers who can barely control their powers and have their whole lives ahead of them and you want to put them in danger." I stated only to be met with Xander's heated glare. "What do you expect me to do huh!? The sirens made their decision so I made mine! I will show them the same amount of mercy they showed to my dead pack members! I refuse to let them get away with this!"

SLAP!

"DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME! You made that decision by yourself without consulting with me first. You made the decision to send those innocent children to their deaths without speaking to me about it. How dare you!? I understand that you are the king and alpha now but I am also your queen and luna! You had absolutely no right what so ever to make those decisions before speaking to me. Why!? Because I am your mate and I deserve that respect at the end of the day!" I raged before exiting the room and slamming the door behind me. I angrily walked through the castle's corridors before walking out of the castle and into the forest. I could feel Xander trying to mind link me but I blocked him out. The audacity he has. How can he feel comfortable knowing that he's sending innocent children to die. He's literally the fucking king of werewolves. He has alliances with thousands of other supernatural kingdoms who would be willing to send warriors experienced in these things. Heck! He also has the help of my kingdom even if I'm not queen yet. The fact that he failed to realize that speaks for itself. Alphas and their egos.
