The light from the shield fades after a little bit and the shield losses its purifying powers, which was the reason every time the demon touched it it would burn, but the shield stood strange right up against her body, almost like armour.

The demon watched her, he couldn't see her that well, since that shield was wrapped all around her. "Odd magic.. We are like complete opposites.. Oh wait.. We are.." He chuckled and began to set a tree on fire with his magic. "Destruction.. with Love..?" He thought about it. "What types of powers do these angels have?" He began to laugh. "Grow flowers?"

She stays asleep and rolls over onto her side, closer to the tree that the demon set on fire. Her wings unfold and spread out behind her when she does.

Apollos let out a growl. "That's it.. I'm just going to wait until she awakens!! What do angels need to sleep for anyway?" He muttered to himself, sticking out his forked tongue as he decided to lay on his back on top of the horse. The horse simply began to dig around with his hooves and whiny quietly..

Serenity slowly wakes up after a little bit, and sits up stretching her wings unfolding behind her stretching out, as the shield goes away.

After a while of waiting beside that burning tree, he took a glance at her and noticed the shield was gone. It filled him with excitement and he hopped off his horse with joy. He went up to the yawning angel, noticing that she had awakened. Soon, he placed a finger on her chin and lifted her head up. He felt the tip of his ginger burn as he did so.. "So, Princess..." He said in a teasing way. "How was your little nap..?"

She looks up at him, still tired not really caring about him touching her, her wing fold back up and looks at the tree, after a few minutes of the tree burning the fire goes out, "it was fine demon, have you been watching me sleep the whole time, or did you just get here?"

"Of course I have been watching you.. I am an incubus... it is my duty to watch the targets I have... sleep.. You were just lucky to have that shield around your small.. Delicate, little body." He hissed at her quietly as he spoke, removing his finger from her chin.

She slowly stands up and stretches again "I guess, but I have no control over it so it really pointless to have, and my body my be delicate but that has nothing to do with having the shield"

When he looked at his finger, he watched it slowly heal from its burn. He looked to her and smiled. "The cause for the burn... You are not wearing crosses... Are you?"

She looks at him "yes, I am I always I'm" she pulls a necklace with a cross out from her pocket, with cross was silver with blue jewels.

Apollos growled, the sight of it seemed to weaken him. "No wonder I burn each time I lay a hand on you.." He growls, looking up at the tree which had stopped burning.

She puts the cross back in her pocket and watches him, wondering how the cross being in her pocket can make him burn when he touches her.

Apollos growled. "Don't show it again... Alright?" He felt his power go up again as she put up the cross into her pocket. "How do you like this.. Dark world now?" Hde let out a demonic laughter. "I told you so... We did succeed."

She look at him " I won't as long as you be nice, and as for this world its cold dark, and dying"

Apollos ignored what she had said and crossed his arms and smiled with pride. "Where is your god now??" He whispered into her ear quietly. "Where is he..?"

"He is were he has always been, and will always be" she said smiling. "I trust god, do you trust your lord to never fail you? Because God has never failed me, or his people, he knows when its time to take action and when it time to let things happen, god even does things for you demons and y'all never even notice"
