I was gently shook from my slumber, "wake up cupcake" a gruff voice whispered against my head.

"No" I growled back swatting the unknown person rudely shaking me.

"Come on Laur, up you get" he attempted to coax me up.

"FUCK OFF" I seethed at him. I snapped my eyes open and tried to ignore the burning in my eyes due to the bright sun rays.

I searched around for my victim, finally settling my eyes onto a chuckling Blake.

"S- sorry" he managed to gasp out between laughs. I tried to hide my grin with a pout and little frown.

"Shut up, you peanut" I shouted at him while he mushed his hand up against his mouth to muffle any giggles threatening to escape.

I playfully hit his chest before climbing out of the bed and padding my way into his bathroom without muttering a single sound to him.

As I closed the door behind me with a lock a triumphant smile crept onto my face. his fists were pounding up against the door while he muttered about how unfair I was being.

I shrugged off Blake's shirt that I was draped under, quickly followed by my underwear and bra. I fiddled with the knobs on the shower, finally getting it onto a nice warm temperature.

I stepped under the warm water letting the droplets pound onto my skin, relaxing any tense muscles.

I was just shampooing my hair with Blake's many shampoo when I was interrupted by a cough.

"Hey babe" Blake waved at me as I scrambled to cover myself from Blake's wandering eyes.

"Blake, get out right now or I'll hate you forever!" I screamed at him.

"Blake" I wined out when he began pulling off his shirt. he tossed it off into a corner somewhere before advancing towards me.

I backed away into a corner and then.... black.

I couldn't see anything, oh my goodness it's the end of the world.

Oh wait, Blake had thrown a towel over my head. I wrapped it around myself so that now I was fully covered.

Blake grabbed another towel and started drying my hair for me. every now and then he would kiss my head, sending shivers down my spine.

"Chocolate?" I asked, I have a craving for chocolate at them moment.

Blake nodded before leading me out of his room and down into the kitchen. I suddenly made up some excuse about me feeling very exposed before racing back up the stairs.

Shit. there was blood on the towel. why does it happen right now?

My blood ran cold and genuine fear consumed me. what the fuck do I do?

I could tell that my cheeks were on fire with embarrassment.

A banging on the door distracted me for the whirring around in my head.

"Laur, are you okay you've been a while?" Blake questioned.

"I ummm, I'm fine" I stammered with my fingers crossed behind my back.

"I know that you're on your period" he muttered and immediately a mix between relieve and anxiety filled my bloodstream.

"Shit" I cursed under my breath and judging by Blake's chuckle he heard.

"I'll go run to the store, what do you need?" He asked and I couldn't form the words to tell him. why couldn't the ground swallow me up and leave me to die.

"I ummmm just erm anything" I whispered.

Shorty after his footsteps loudly passed away I breathed a sigh of relief. damn Blake was taking this was easier that I imagined.

A couple of hours later and the supplies put to a good use I was comfortably sitting next to Blake on the sofa. when I say next to really I mean on top of Blake.

He didn't seem to mind based of the casual arm draped around my waist and the smug look on his cute face.

"Sleepy" I muttered and a strong arm pulled me further onto Blake. my head was comfortably snuggled into his chest and my arms firmly gripping him.

He held onto me like I was going to disappear, like he wanted to protect me from everything bad in this world. I liked that it made me feel safe.

Mr. Badass makes me feel safer than I have in a long while.
