Author's Pov
Three days prior to the incident, Shelly's parents had an invitation to The Riverdale Club. They would be joining Stephen and together alongside some snacks and beverage they would discuss his future.
That evening was marked by Shelly to give all details to her beloved Jake.
Jake as it was, was completely unaware of the whole situation. He was excited that she had returned and like a child he waited for her call every one of those days.
Sometimes faking diere emergency to visit the loo, sometimes faking stomach ache or some other medical disease to visit the infirmary. He would keep awake at nights hoping his wife (to be, according to him) would call. He would carry his phone alonside him everywhere he went, a tiny part of him dreaded that Shelly had forgotten him.
Shelly on the other hand thought of nothing else, To her it was once Stephen , once Jake.
She would smite one's betrayal and think of her own. She wanted to attain forgiveness but she knew she didn't deserve it.
She knew that if Stephen begs for her forgiveness she would readily give it and this gave her courage. Jake would too right?
She would have to call him. She'd steal a phone and call him. From somewhere, somehow she would have to talk to him
