Youthful Teams

-chapter 5-

I just read a lot of Haikyuu!! fics the other day and I read one with a nuclear apocalypse Japan and let me tell you how grateful I am for the author not making it a zombie apocalypse. I also read one with complete crack involving Kageyama's butt and Hinata's huge d and inappropriate dick jokes. And that is how this chapter was born.

It was now a little later in the afternoon and the sun was slowly going down the horizon, leaving the pink, orange and purple sky to color the sidewalks and light. The Karasuno team was now in an open park which conviently had a volleyball court, and a basketball court.

Kageyama and Hinata immediately rushed to the open court, with the orange-haired boy taking out a ball from his bag and passed it to Kageyama. Sugawara and Daichi ran after them, Tanaka and Nishinoya following with a worried Asahi and exasperated second years. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi calmly walked to the court, not paying attention to their rowdy teammates and instead sat down and talked to each other.

Kiyoko, Takeda and Coach Ukai stood near them as Hinata and Kageyama were now having their usual bicker sessions again. Azami was quite behind due to saying her farewells to Kuroko and Kagami but still followed suite.

Azami arrived just in time to hear the climax of Hinata and Kageyama's argument with Daichi and Sugawara to stop them. "Toss me the ball, Kageyamaaaaa!" "Then spike properly, dumbass!"

Sugawara put a hand on Kageyama and Hinata's shouder and split them up, "Geez, can't you two ever stop fighting for once?" he said in his motherly tone. "Not until Kageyama tosses me the ball, mom!"Hinata said and immediately stiffened at what he said a second too late.

There was a long pause until Tsukishima and Yamaguchi began laughing and Sugawara processed Hinata's words. "M-mom?!" Sugawara repeated with a confused look on his face and Hinata's face went all red.

"Sugawara does act like a mom sometimes, and the Captain acts like a father." Azami admitted, biting her lip to prevent herself from laughing. "So Captain and Suga-san are married then!" Tanaka concluded, clapping his hands together, earning red faces from the two.

"Of course! No wonder they always act so lovey-dovey with each other!" Nishinoya added, and Daichi was stuck inbetween scolding them or denying the statement. "W-we do not!" Sugawara stuttered, his face turning red by the second.

"Kagayama looks like their child and Hinata could be the lover." Tsukishima said, earning a snicker from Yamaguchi, the agreement of Tanaka and Nishinoya, and the baffled expressions of Kageyama and Hinata.

"H-hey! Everybody knows you and Yamaguchi like each other!" Kagayama said and pointed at the other first year duo, who blushed. "K-K-KAGEYAMA!" Yamaguchi yelled, Tsukishima too embarrassed to even say anything.

"Tanaka, our precious kouhai are finally finding love!" Nishinoya said, brimming with fake tears in his eyes. Tanaka sniffled and pat Hinata and Kageyama on the back, both still red from Tsukishima's remark. "May our precious Shouyou and Tobio live a happy life together, like Daichi-san and Suga-san." Tanaka said as he sniffed once more.

"W-We're not going to get married!!" Hinata stuttered out with the tips of his ears getting red and Kageyama was visibly shaking as his face was heating up. "Oh my god..." Ennoshita said, torn between laughing, scolding everyone or being done with everyone's shit.

Asahi was too confused at what was happening, and he hoped he wouldn't be dragged into the mess his teammates had done. "Asahi! My dear man, come forward and let us take a picture of the glorious moment that is Shouyou and Tobio's wedding!" Nishinoya said and gave Asahi a hard push towards Daichi and Sugawara.

"Now, now! We musn't forget our other two kouhai! Tsukishima and Yamaguchi-" Tanaka said and was about to go near the blushing mess of Tsukishima and Yamaguchi. "Enough!" Daichi yelled, earning a yelp from Asahi and the scared looks of Kageyama and Hinata as Tanaka and Nishinoya ran away not before getting caught by Ennoshita.

"Does anyone in this team realize how gay they are?" Azami said and looked down at Kiyoko, who had her eyes closed. "I'm afraid not, Nakajima-san." she said.

I would like to call this chapter: Everyone is gay, and Kiyoko and Azami are done with everyone's shit.

Also, I don't really ship Asanoya, because I don't really know how to feel about Asahi, honestly. Ennoshita, Narita and Kinoshita... Hell, I don't even know why some people ship Ennoshita and Tanaka together...? Kiyoko is probably asexual.
