The next day, vampires have taken up residence at Marcel's former penthouse as Klaus busts through the doors.

"Rise and shine, Nightwalker Nation. If it was your aim to get my attention, then I must say you've been wildly successful. I am now singularly focused on your impending suffering." Klaus said

He then holds up the Nazi coin that was sent to him.

"And to whomever sent this coin and took my daughters' mother... it's time to show your face." Klaus said as he breaks a wooden chair.

He then throws the coin up in the air and proceeds to kill all the vampires in various ways.

One vampire tries to get away but gets thrown to the ground by Marcel.

"Man, don't look to me for help. Y'all lost your chance to trade loyalty for protection." Marcel said

Klaus then drags one of the vampires towards one of the windows.

"No." Vampire said

"This would mark your very last opportunity to confess." Klaus said

"Look, I don't know anything." Vampire said

"Well, that's a pity for you, then." Klaus said

He then picks the vampire up and opens the window, letting the vampire burn in the sun.

He drops the dead vampire as she continues to burn while Greta walks up and picks up the coin.

"It's me you're looking for. Perhaps we should talk." Greta said

Later in the underground of the compound, Klaus had taken Greta hostage and is draining her of her blood.

"You know, for someone who organized this little summit, you're woefully short on details. So I'm going to ask you one last time. Where are you keeping Hayley?" Klaus said

Greta is laying on top of a rock, looking upside down at Klaus, while her wrist were bleeding on to the ground. She's also not talking, which angers Klaus, causing him to vamp speed towards her and sits her upright and stabs huge nails in each of her hands.

:You knew we'd have this little chat. No doubt you binged on vervain till your throat was red and raw. And now, sadly, drip, drip, drip... All over the floor it goes." Klaus said

"Sein Mangel an vision... wird sein untergang sein." Greta said in German.

Klaus translates as he says. "His lack of vision will be his downfall."

"That's what he always said about you." Greta said

"He?" Klaus said

"You and I have a friend in common." Greta said

"Oh, I sincerely doubt that." Klaus said

"It's true. August Muller. I don't blame you for forgetting. It was a long time ago. Rostock, Germany. Spring. 1933." Greta said

Flashback:

Rostock, Germany

1933

A bunch of people were in a speakeasy, listening to a man, August Muller talk about art.

"The purpose of art is to portray life as it is. When that world is joyous, art must reflect that beauty, but... when our existence is beset with unrest, humiliation, hyperinflation, the indignity of reparations, art must necessarily be equally drab and ugly." August said

Klaus was among those people as well and he says. "Or perhaps, August, the ugliness is a result of the artist lacking any discernible talent."

He chuckles.
