Me: where the hell is emily?
Spencer: maybe she has swim practice.
Hanna: what do you want to tell us anyway Ali?
Aria: cant you tell us now?? I need to be somewhere after this!
Me: emily needs to be here before i could tell you what I wanna say!
Then we heard gasp and murmurs behind us so I turned around, the other girls did as well.
Spencer: what the!!!
Aria: what???
Hanna: oh my god!! Am i drunk?? Ali what is happening?
I stared at the two figure heading our way. All i could hear are gasps from everyone in the parking lot. I didnt really mind them because my attention was focused on Emily who is walking side by side with Courtney, my twin sister.
Courtney: Hey sis!
Me: I see you youve met Emily!
Courtney: I did, she mistook me for you earlier.
The 3 other girls just stared in awe and confusion.
Courtney: arent you going to introduce me to your friends?
Before i could answer, she extended her hand to Hanna.
Courtney: hi! Im courtney! Ali's twin.
Hanna: im hanna! I love your accent by the way!
Courtney: Thanks
Courtney: hi im courtney!
Spencer: Hello, im spencer, hastings, i live from right across your house!
Courtney: ohhh, that is amazing, i could just sneak into your house sometimes if i get bored you know, i guess ill be seeing you a lot, Spencer Hastings.
Spencer: i love that idea, ill give you my number.
Courtney: perfect. Hi im Courtney!
Aria: im aria, oh god your outfit is fabulous, where do you shop? ......

I could only hear indistinct chatter while my mind wanders off. My friends are head over heels in love with Courtney and theyve only met for minutes. I felt a sting of jealousy in my chest. Then i felt a hand on my shoulder.
Em: ali are you okay?
Me: why wouldnt I be?
Em: I know youre not comfortable having Courtney around, she feels the same way too. Is this what you wanted to tell us earlier?
Me: I should have said something about her, im sorry, i just never thought she'd come here ever,
Em: if you need someone to talk to Im always here for you, okay?
I took her hand and encircled it with mine.
Me: thanks Em!
Courtney: do you guys wanna hang out with me?
3 girls: sure!
Me: i thought you guys said you have important things to do?
Spencer: yes we do! But we just want to give Court a welcome dinner.
Hanna: i know a good place that serves amazing food.
Aria: this is going to be fun.
The girls and Courtney head to Spencer's SUV.
Hanna: Ali? Arent you coming?
Courtney: hey Em! Lets go!
Me: I have more important things to attend to! Ill see you at home Courtney!
There is annoyance in my tone. I can feel my friends liking Courtney more and more with each passing moment. Ill be left alone with no friends if Courtney keeps this sweet act.
Em: I promised my mom ill be home early. welcome to Rosewood Courtney. Ill see you around.
Courtney smiled at Em and winked at her before she gestured for Spencer to start the car. And now im left with my sweet Em. She grabbed me by the hand and said
Em: Ali, theres something I wanna show you!
Me: i thought you need to be home?
Em: Nah, you know ill never leave you sad and alone right? C'mon theres a place i know that would cheer you up!
C'mon Ali!
Me: thanks Em!
She gave me the warmest smile and i could feel my heart flutter. Should I tell her?????

Uh oh! Seems like the girls are liking courtney a little too much. But looking at the bright side Em still chose to be with Ali.
