I awoke to the feeling of something touching my face, startling me from my sleep as my eyes shot open, roughly grabbing the hand in defense as my other hand went to the body's waist so I could flip us over. I threw the body under me quickly as I leaned over it, my arms trapping the person.

"What are you doing!" I heard the voice yell, causing my vision to turn normal and my brain to become fully aware of my surroundings. I looked down and saw Capri beneath me, wide eyed at our current position. I then looked at my surroundings realizing that I was in her bed. We were on her bed. Shit.

When did I get on her bed? It was then I remembered what had happened and the pain finally returned to me as I gripped the wounds on my abdomen. I turned, falling on the bed beside Capri as I bit my cheek. Healing was always a painful process, but this was excruciating. "I'm sorry," I said, reaching my hand up to cover my eyes. I probably startled her.

"It's okay," she said as I felt her sit up beside me. "Does it hurt?" Her soft voice asked me. I lowered my hand from my eyes, staring up at her. God was she beautiful. How couldn't she be an angel? He had the prettiest dark hair that framed her gorgeous tan face. She had these hazel eyes and I noticed that she barley wore makeup. She didn't even need it. She was naturally glowing with beauty.

"Hurts like hell," I said as I noticed that I was shirtless and my wounds had been bandaged up. I looked around, confused how I had gone from the bathroom to her bed. She seemed to notice me looking around and spoke up, "I had to drag you here. I thought it would be a little more comfortable than my cold bathroom floor. You're quite heavy." Her last words made me smile in the slightest and I saw her eyes glimmer when she saw it. Yeah yeah, I don't smile a lot. What did I have to smile about?

My smile soon faded as I realized that I was actually here in her apartment. Why had I come here? I was just putting her in danger. I cares so deeply for this girl who I had just met. I had never cared about someone since the day my mother was murdered, but it was like my emotions were on a string and she had her hands wrapped around it, in full control. Something about her made me feel a little more human. The archangel blades were a demons weakness, but this girl in front of me was surely my human weakness. Fuck sake.

I shook my head, moving to sit up, "I shouldn't have came here. I'm so fucking stupid. I'm sorry but I can't keep coming arou-" I said as I went to stand but her gentle hand placed itself on my bare chest, pushing me back to the bed. God she made me so angry. Let me fucking go. Why couldn't she just let me walk away, it would make our lives so much easier.

"Stop talking."

"Stop talking? Don't you realize how much danger I put you in because I can't stay the fuck away? I need to leave you the fuck alone, Capri. Can't you see what they did to me? Imagine what they'd do to you if they knew I was coming here!" I growled, anger rising from deep in my stomach. Her eyes were the complete opposite, she wasn't angry. I didn't even know if this woman could be angry. She was so kindhearted and accepting. Angelic.
