She was frozen there, terrified of the god standing over her. Lord Bliss smirks, pleased that the girl was scared of him. A killer. That's what appeared in her small, dumb-founded mind. A cruel, blood-thirsty killer.

"You can't run from me forever, Alaina," he says to the girl.

Alaina cowers pathetically, which amuses Bliss. The ancient Lord kneels down in front of her, his black eyes burning into her innocent soul. She attempts to look away, but simply could not. Bliss was too strong, overpowering her with just that one, torturing stare.

"You remind me so much of your mother," he tells Alaina, a hint of kindness in his voice.

She starts to shiver uncontrollably.

"H-how do you know m-my mother?" Alaina croaks.

Lord Bliss grins evily.

"She was my best friend's sister, darling," he states clearly.

The girl's eyes widen.

"No," she whispers. "You are cold-hearted murderer..."

He laughs at her.

"Yet I can sense your fear from a mile away," Bliss says. "And when I rise from the ashes, you are going to be hunted down by my minions... If you run away, that is."

Alaina gasps.

"Persephone can't protect you much longer, sweet heart," he hisses as he grabs ahold of Alaina's arm, making her cry out. "The gods' powers are weakening, Alaina, and when the time comes, there is nothing that could possibly stop me. Be forewarned."

The young girl disappears, but when she wakes up, she will find a tattoo of a dark dragon on her left wrist and one of a light dragon on her right wrist. She will have to decide her own fate, whether to join the dark side or allign with the rebels. Either way, her life is going to be changed forever.

I wake up with a start, almost sighing i relief when I had realised that it was only a dream.

"But it felt as if I was actually there," I whispered softly to myself.

I look at the clock on my nightstand. One thirty-seven in the morning.
