I awoke to the chirping of birds. I groaned and painfully pulled myself out of bed. I glanced over at my alarm clock expecting it to be around 7 am but it displayed 8:18 AM. I shot up in a panic and started getting dressed immediately. "Shit, Shit I'm going to be late!" I said as I ran down the hallway.  I received confused stares from students but didn't care.  After 10 minutes of panic-filled sprinting, I arrived at Franxx Academy.  I quickly set my things in my locker and sprinted to class.

"Your late Hiro," Mrs. Nana said. "I'm sorry Nana," I replied as I walked to my seat. "Oversleep again?" A voice said. I turned and found Goro smirking. "Mhm," I replied sleepily. "You need to stop staying up so late," Goro said concerned. I sighed and turned to listen to the teacher. 

Halfway through the lecture a Franxx guard entered the room and whispered to Nana. She quickly left the classroom telling them to do silent work time. "I wonder what that was about," Goro said. Hiro just shrugged and began on his assignments. Suddenly there was a tap on his shoulder, he turned to see a blue-haired girl looking annoyed. "Where were you this morning?!" She shouted. I chuckled and replied, "Slept in again, you need to stop working yourself over these things Ichigo." She frowned and rolled her eyes. "Honestly Hiro you need to stop slacking off" I sighed and went back to my assignment. 

A little while later Nana reentered the room looking distressed, two Franxx guards followed behind her. The entire class stopped what they were doing to look up at Nana. "Class, we have a new student today!" Nana spoke. The entire class broke into whispers and murmuring. "Silence class!" The class went silent and Nana continued. "She is from APE academy and is to be joining our homeroom this year." Everyone looked shocked. A student from APE? Here? But why? "I want you to make them feel welcomed here okay?" Nana asked. "Yes, Nana." The class replied in unison. "Alright please introduce yourself," She said motioning to the door. "Do I have to?" Said a voice. Nana sighed "Yes." "Fine," The voice said, annoyed. The class turned and faced the door awaiting the new student. Then a girl with a red uniform and white cap entered the room. She had pink hair and teal eyes. Hiro's heart stopped and he suddenly felt his brain snap. He held his arms to his head. What just happened? He suddenly saw a flash of images but couldn't see them in time. His head was in extreme pain but he decided not to draw attention to himself.

He turned back to the new girl who was introducing herself. "You aren't allowed to wear hats inside." The new girl frowned annoyed. "Fine," She said. As she removed her hat the class gasped. Under her hat were.. horns?! "Class meet Zero Two." Zero Two wasn't paying attention to what Nana was saying and was just staring off into space. "Zero Two please take a seat next to Hiro." I gulped as the entire class turned to stare at me. Zero Two herself turned and faced me. Instead of the boring look, she had been giving all morning she froze and gave Hiro the biggest smile he had ever seen. She bounded over to him and sat on his desk. She leaned on him and spoke "~Found you, Darling~"
