Arturo Alvarez the CEO of the company sat at the monthly informational meeting, they all sat at the large oval shape table in the large office room, this is where they met, all the department heads submitted there monthly updates. He sat and listened while Diego collected and took notes for him to revive later.

At the conclusion of the meeting Arturo spoke before they left, "I would like to remind everyone that this Saturday is the annual charity event, it is the tenth year we have had the honor of holding it, I would like for all employees and their spouses to attend. This in fact is the first year my daughter will be attending, she just graduated and received her degree and she will be working here soon, I hope you will all welcome my daughter and make here feel like she is part of the family like I have done with all of you."

Arturo ended the meeting on that note and went to back to work.

Paloma stood in front of the mirror and twirled around, this was the third dress she had tried on, the first was a midnight color sequin strapless column gown, that hugged her curves, but her breast were too big, the next was a black modern one shoulder maxi dress, the thirds was a blue ball gown, she didn't like any of those in the end she debated between a high low evening dress a- line of the shoulder and a turquoise backless full length fitted waist flared strappy dress, she chose the last one and wore her hair down, parted to the side with a diamond studded clip and put on one of the many new high heel shoes she bought when she was out with Diego.

Mr. Jones and Ben walked out the front door of the building, "Ben you have been here a week and you get to attend the annual charity event."

"Yeah, I am excited about that, I'll get to meet the CEO in person," Ben said.

"Don't worry about the CEO right now, look, the CEO's daughter will be attending her first event, she seems to be about your age, she will begin working at the company soon," Mr. Jones said.

"What about it dad?" Ben asked. 

"I want you to see who she is, pay attention who Mr. Alvarez walks in with, think, they are rich, the owners of the company, get her, no matter what," Mr. Jones said.

"Are you serious, you had a cow when I brought my ex girlfriend home, remember," Ben said.

Paloma walked down the stairs, "Papa, I am ready to go."

Arturo stood at the bottom of the stairs, "Palomita, you look stunning, does she not Diego," Diego stood at the entrance.

"She looks beautiful," Diego said.

Arturo smiled at Paloma, "Since this is your first time I have decided to let Diego escort you."

"What, what about you?" Paloma protested.

"You don't worry about me Paloma, I will be way to busy greeting people and talking about businesses, so I asked Diego to escort you, he will not leave your side, he is yours for the night, mija," Paloma's father said.

"The limo is here shall we go," Diego held his arm out.

She squinted at her father suspiciously, "Of course," she watched as her father smiled.

"Don't worry about me, I will go in my own car," Arturo said.

The limo stoped and Diego helped Paloma out, they walked arm and arm into the event.
